that cant be true........it just cant. :D
I know, I thought that myself as he said it. I recall he was from salt lake city, which might explain it.
His mate slapped him round the head when he said it, called him a dumb ass and explained to him that people amazingly speak English in England. :TU:

Hold your breath: I even lived in that place for a while (Kentish Town, to be precise).

London is OK - except that the weather sucks, the women are ugly, and the food is worse than at McDonalds. And you need to kill yourself to be able to pay for all of this.... :TU:

London is right dump in my opinion, compared with most other large cities I've been to (New York, San Francisco, Paris etc etc). As someone said, everything is expensive, and yet also generally dirty and dilapidated. It's quite odd...

Only LA is worse.

Scouse is pretty tough, but Glaswegan is plain incomprehesible. Man, I don't wanna get lost in Glasgow.

Paris fornicating stinks man, are you serious? If you are talking about the centre of Paris then sure, great, but what about those piss arse suburbs.

San Franciso is a beautiful place, but come on, it's not at all comparable to London, it's fornicating tiny, you can walk it in a day.

Some parts of London are run down, but it's a very old city, and it's absolutely huge. Some parts of London are incredibly beautiful.

It is very expensive yes, but then again a lot of people are earning ludicrous sums of money.

I've not been to New York, but from what I hear, there are slums in NY that are far worse than anything you will see in London.

London has thousands of Acres of green space, in fact, it's the greenest city in Europe, and one of the greenest major cities on Earth.

Hampstead Heath, Richmond, Greenwich, Holland Park, Kew Gardens, Gunnersbury Park, South London is absolutely full of parks.

Many people who come to London stay in one area, and think the whole of London is like that area, the fact is that London is really about a hundred different little towns all linked together.

The original city is the square mile, all of the rest gradually became incorporated into the city. Hyde park used to be open forest land, Ladbroke grove was full of orchards, and Shepherd's bush was as it's name applies grazing land.

London is the most ethnically diverse major city in the world, and the breadth of experience available is incredible. It has it's problems, but it's a wonderful place, and I love it.

Hackney or Elephant&Castle aren't much different... And Paris' centre IS gorgeous. The problem in Paris are the Parisians. Arrogant , dumb lot. As soon as you mispronounce "bonjour" they behave as if you should be happy that they take your money.

Can't compare a 10 million city with a 2 million city.

Go, man. NYC is quite something. And hardly any slums in Manhattan.

However, both London and NYC are good for visiting, and for living there in your 20s (working your but off in the City/Wall Street). Or as a young retiree.

Today with a family I don't wanna live in either city. I'm comfortable in DC.

Hampstead Heath is awesome (as a former Kentish Towner will confirm). But no wonder it's green - it rains all the time....

You've got to ask questions of a nation thats only two intrests are:-

1.Teeth.
2.Weather.

5% of the population in the U.S have a passport , pitiful.

Tom Podmore.

And for the record , British women are far more attractive than that of their US counterparts , beauty wise and intelligence wise.

Which nation is that?

Well, it's nice over here - and the US is more like a continent, not like a country.
How many Europeans have been outside Europe?
