Taylor-Hopkins II (Dec 3), Ikeke-Abraham (Dec 10) and Winky Soliman (same night).
Can't wait to see what adjustments Taylor will make this time. I wonder how Winky will fare vs his first proper middleweight and perhaps most unorthodox foe. Can Abraham's ability to string together bombs wipe out Ikeke's huge height/reach and cleaner punching?
whether Hopkins wins or not, it's his last major fight, and he'll leave behind an interesting talent pool. the division now looks like it did post Hagler, which had almost TOO MANY talented guys.
McCallum, Nunn, Kalambay, Toney, JD Jackson, Julian Jackson, Herol Graham, Benn, Watson, Eubank, Barkley. Everyone had an interesting, tough fight almost every time out.
If Abraham can hack it at this level, he could be the equivalent of Jackson (ok, ok, Arthur can't hit as hard, but he has 2 good eyes). Winky, the ex junior middle whom no one wants to fight, reminds one of McCallum, etc etc.
Not as deep a division now, but it's great that the top 6 are fighting one another within 10 days.
