these were tweeted last night....

Froch:
Just got off the phone with @EddieHearn & the waiting is nearly over. City Ground is now the front runner. @Official_NFFC let's do this.

Groves about half hour later:
Before you all book your trains to Nottingham because the Sheriff has tweeted.. I very much doubt King John would send us all there! #Hoax

Ricoh Arena in coventry is where i'd hold it. No football there, will be available at a good rate, good views from everywhere and will easily be able to hold 45k+ and i'll be able to walk home.

Just to comment on the 20k tickets in 11 mins. When you only make a small selection of the tickets available to the public and hand out tickets to fighters for purse reasons and then to secondary sellers, that does not count as selling 20k tickets to the public.

Very few people will ever get a face-value ticket for big events now and that is wrong.

You can get a face value ticket for almost anything if you're quick enough and know what you're doing.

Though to be fair to know what you're doing takes experience, someone going to one or 2 stadium fights a year will not learn enough to do it the way a tout would.

Yeah Coventry doesn't exactly give it the wow factor to be honest, sorry fella.
I can see the footy fans are protesting and not going these days, sad times!

Exactly. Not many people will know that you can get a ticket from undercard fighters etc

Isn't the fight the 'wow' factor? Central location, easy access and we've had the likes of Take That, Elton, Oasis and the Boss play before!

I just don't think people would travel there mate, it hasn't got the 'big name' so to speak. You say Ricoh Arena to most people in the country and they would be like....'where???'

No offense of course

You don't need to cause any offense in Coventry to get some aggro.
