Boxing News have gone for Crawford on points; not so sure myself. Burns looking in tip-top condition both physically and mentally and he's a more spiteful puncher than he's given credit for.

You seem to be reading heavily into Crawford's mannerisms, but I don't see why they're that significant. Could you answer my question above about how Crawford usually carries himself outside the ring?
I'm not a psychologist and I don't know how Crawford usually carries himself outside the ring, but I've seen enough to know that he normally answers with more than 5 words to a question, just seems very unusual and there's been plenty of suggestions that he's unhappy with various things surrounding the fight, he has seemed a bit mardy, which can be a sign of being tight at the weight, or maybe he's just joined in with the Scottish tradition of being a miserable bastard

All will play out tomorrow in the ring, that's one thing I know for certain.

Wouldn't be the first lol. He's compared the reception he will face to fighting in Canada and Venezuala as an amateur and his trainer/manager thinks that the crowd may be on his side by the end, if they really believe that, they're in for a serious shock tomorrow night.

Seems to be a lot of Scots in here, or a lot of unbalanced, biased hoping. Not much mention of how the fight plays out, just a lot of 'Burns will do this!'

My trip to the future was fruitful, but now I am back and can tell you that it is very safe to bet hard on Crawford. You're welcome. Ignore me at your peril.

You want to try a Ronnie Clark thread - this one is measured. polite, sane and orderly; though there is not much in your post as to what Crawford will do either - Burns has had a number of fights at this level, Terence has not and is a long way from home, in the cold.

As I said earlier, I'm reluctant to predict much about a fighter I've never seen, so what is it about Crawford that has impressed you so much?

Fast, smooth, great skills, very tidy defence. Very good footwork, and overall ring generalship, good pop. Good chin (He took a couple of big ones from Prescott and didn't even flinch). Nice combinations. He's the real deal, the full package. The price is shortening. 4/9 is great value in my opinion. When you see the fight unfold you'll wonder why Crawford isn't a 1/4 favourite.

Cheers mate - I'm still undecided, so might sit this one out bookie-wise. Must look at those links from earlier before tomorrow evening...

From what I've seen of this guy against Prescott he looks the real deal. And moving up like that and taking on a monster like Prescott at short notice, and handling him like that, shows massive confidence, so much so that I don't think he'll be affected by the crowd.

I'm not going to bet though, as I want Ricky to win this, but he is likelygoing to have to fight out of his skin.

Terence Crawford is going to win at least 10 rounds out of 12, and it'll probably be boring as hell.

I'm sure the official scorecards will be closer than the actual fight is, but I expect Crawford will win clearly enough that they can't rob him without a huge uproar.

I must of watched a different weigh inn to some people on here. I have never seen Ricky and Billy react before at weigh inns.. I thought Crawford was calm and very confident.. Ricky will need to be his best ever and that might still not be enough. He doesn't look like a hype job to me.. As for size Crawford looks bigger the height is negligible Crawford slumps and Ricky stands upright.. Crawford has very long arms

Thats the way ive see it panning out too i,m afraid, although it wont be boring for me to watch as i,ll be rooting for Burns all the way and i.ve learnt too many times not to count out Ricky but yeah i think it will be a comprehensive UD for Crawford

Simpson v Murray seems to be flying under the radar a liitle but i think that should be cracking while it lasts, cant see anything other than a John Murray stoppage,i just hope the size difference isnt too much of an ask for Simpson that its not competitive though

We,ve seen many times before though that fighters who are coming off a gift seem to end up getting a raw deal next fight even though they look to have won it and certainly perform better

Sturm drawing with Murray after lucking out against Macklin,Pacquiao getting robbed against Bradley after the contoversial win in the 3rd fight with Marquez too spring to mind

Billy's probably been dying for a bit of weigh in aggro, straight out with the cut throat gesture.

Ditto MW. If Crawford were the Brit here and Ricky the American, I doubt many would even see Burns as a serious threat.

Big night tomorrow.

I think it comes down to what happens when things get tough for Crawford, we've all seen that Burns has the heart to walk through pain and get up off the floor to win, but can Crawford do the same?

I see Crawford being slowly outwitted and out hearted over 12 rounds

As for the weigh in itself, Ricky looked taller than Crawford, until Crawford seemed to suddenly grow, couldn't see his feet but the way he moved upwards made it look like he was standing on his toes, so maybe Ricky does have a height advantage, but even if he doesn't, he looked huge at the weigh in, much, much bigger than Crawford to me.
Yeah the whole height thing is odd! I dunno if Crawford was wearing cuban heels at the press conference yesterday or something lol
If you check the weigh in video Crawford is actually wearing flip flop style sandals with an inch heal. Ricky is the taller man.

Being black and coming to Glasgow shows Crawford is one brave son of a bitch:
