Best way to record 2 shows & watch the 3rd tomorrow (on sky)

Post by JimJim2009 »

Bit of a conundrum, 3 shows on at the same time. I've figured out if I watch sky (burns/Crawford) live, and record the C5 show, there is a full BN rerun of Stieglitz/King Artur starting at 10am sunday - so tape that.

I may be wrong but I don't think there is another way of doing it and getting all 3.

Note - BN have the Chavez / Vera + Salido / Lomachenko show live in the middle of the night so that doesn't impact on things, it can just be recorded.

There's Channel 5+24 now, so you could watch it a day later, or it will be on Demand 5 in the next couple of days so watch it there.

I'm going to record the B0xnati0n show and the Channel 5 show. I'll watch Burns Vs. Crawford live using the SKY Go app linked up directly to my TV using the HDMI lead from my tablet. The picture quality and stream quality for SKY Go is excellent.

We've got a Skybox, but it's not from Sky, it's a knock off version, but it's on there. Had a look though and it seems to be 175 on Sky. :TU:

Not sure, my Dad sorted it all out. Wouldn't recommend it anyway, nothing but problems, it works by taking 1 sky signal, routing it through Bosnia, then back to the UK where it goes out to the boxes in your group, the more people in the group the less you pay, so in theory it's great. But, Sky change the frequencies from time to time to stop this sort of thing, so it can go off for a couple of hours while they decode them, because ours comes via Bosnia and requires internet connections at all 3 locations, if one internet connection stops working, the entire thing shuts down and Bosnian internet doesn't seem to be great. There's also issues with getting certain channels, Channel 5 doesn't work, Dave doesn't work, Sky Sports 3 HD doesn't work and ITV 1 and Dave ja vu have also stopped working in the last week or so. We don't have allegedly either, because the costs are split between the whole group, but only for those who want that channel, so if 4 people want allegedly it's £2.50 each, but if only one wants it it's £10 like normal and it's only sent to that box. I'm the only one in the house that would watch it, but I don't have control of the telly very often on a Saturday night, so while I could scrape the cash together, it's not worth it when I wouldn't get to watch it often enough. We are looking at switching though, to another knock off box that some family friends have, that one you pay for the box, something like £100 and it's about £80 a year after that, for that you get every single channel on Sky unlocked, including all the Box Office channels, watched Froch-Kessler II there, picture was perfect, didn't have to pay a penny, when that gets sorted I might buy one for my room because I can afford it because it's paid in lump sums, which is easier for me than monthly payments.
