I think Simpsons smaller frame might be his downfall tonight.

Fancy Murray here, he looks sharp and psyched up. A beast at this level.

A minute in and I'd bet my house on Simpson taking an absolute beating tonight.

Huge difference in size between these two. We all knew it but when you see it in glorious technicolour they look like they're two divisions apart - they probably are.

Really felt for Simpson there should not be a lightweight.

Bodyshots have done Simpson. The take away from that is know your division and stay in it.

Murray was far bigger: Simpson should be back at featherweight. He looks to have too much spare at lightweight.

Murray special body shots cut him in half. Thought he might be finished after the horrendous beating he took against Rios but looked well here. Great to see him back in the lightweight mix!

Simpson looked a bit shell shocked at the end of the first!

Good 2 rounds though!

Simpson got done by Selby bodyshot to, didn't he.

Apart from that the stoppage was fine.
Fair point! I wouldnt say going nowhere! Just not above domestic level! There's no shame in that though. It's just that the sky hype machine hypes these guys to be far better than they are

Good stoppage, Murray was just too big for Simpson, glad it finished early for John's sake, no prolonged beating, need to get him back down to Super Feather and rebuild, tonight shouldn't have taken too much out of him. But Murray looked fantastic tonight, very spiteful, looked like a man on a mission.

I thought that stoppage was fine. Every time Murray was getting through with a good body shot just about Simpson was going down. He went down 3 times in Round 2, I don't see Murray letting up on the body attack going into the 3rd with it being that effective.

Simpson wasn't going to make it out of the 3rd even if he'd been allowed to go on is the way it looked to me.
