Just watched John Murray v Simpson and was very impressed by how sharp he looked. I no he was a lot bigger but 2 yrs away still takes time to adjust and I thought he looked really really good and sharp :salut: :salut:

Been saying since start that the fight was a disgrace, fed to wolves, I get Simpson is tough but thats sheer stupidity, John Murray fought for a world title at lightweight and Simpson has never gone beyong domestic level at lower weights. John Murray is a great fighter and for me hell beat crolla, hes willing to take a shot to give one and is a big hitter.

Would love to see the Crolla fight in April, but think it might not happen . If not then get a decent name over for John otherwise he'll lose focus

Lamb to the slaughter not a nice sight to see, you could see the look on Simpson's face after the first couple of punches landed and you just knew it was going to be a very early night from those first couple of exchanges.

Murray impressive though, but as Crolla said ringside, it's nothing we haven't seen before and it doesn't really prove a lot other than Murray is back in good shape.

Murray looked hungry and looked sharp but the weight and size difference was nothing short of criminal.

As a scottish boxing fan im slightly pissed off at the fights selected by eddie hearn for a show in scotland. I dont want to see one sided mis-matches but id like to see scottish fighters represented properly. Simspson fight a 50-50 fight against someone near his own size. Also, Id like to see appleby built back up as we all know he has been on the slide and it wasnt long ago he suffered a brutal ko at the hands of simpson himself. Joshua being the main support in a mis-match and coming down to the proclaimers? Cant believe people bought into that sh1t. Hearn used this show to showcase his own fighters which is fair enough as he is their promoter but something just stunk about that show. He is probably looking forward to using Burns' name at somepoint all over the UK now in domestic fights against his own fighters raking in £ by putting Burns on the road.

Murray's style and size was always gonna wreck simpson! he walks down and wears fighters down, thats his game against people of the same size never mind someone with so many disadvantages. I read Billy Nelson saying on here a while ago that Murray was a small lightweight, was that based on the Brandon Rios fight? The fight should never have happened.

Eddie Hearn.... Fvck You! :TU: Rant over.

Hard to tell too much from that fight, he looked focused but still very hittable.

Murray/Crolla is a good fight that should definitely happen.

No excuses for Crolla v Murray not happening now. Both fighters and the promoter want it. Plus I reckon the Manchester show will have very poor sales without it.

You make some good points but can't say that Hearn hasn't been great for Burns. Got him everything stacked in his favour.
