^ Despite all this though, he scored the fight correctly, more or less. I mean, he took every opportunity to give the fight to the house boy & still made the challenger a comfortable winner. Hilariously, I am beginning to suspect that his scorecard reflects his real, or occulted, view of the fight & that his gabble was to deflect attention from his own opinion.

Which suggests his contract's probably coming up for renewal, is all. Though the way he went about proving his suitability to his paymasters meant he did make my remarks in both the RBR & my front room excessively bile-laden, until Ms. Datsue instructed me to "Turn the volume on that miserable Scots twat off if he's winding you up that much".

Wise words. Donations to the Exalted Gnostic Church of Watt can be sent c/o Datsue Towers, pm for bank transfer details & startling revelations.

Christ, playing Watt bingo tonight with the words "jaw" and "confidence" could have been more lethal than Neknominate.

Watt is a good commentator.

Burns' jaw was clearly bothering him, so Watt brought it up.

No it wasn't ! Jim was awful tonight and Ricky either wasn't great or Crawford made him look ordinary. Not a great night for Scotland

I liked how the co-commentator kept talking about Crawford 'targeting the jaw' :KO:

Ricky himself said it wasn't, so I'd rather hear it from the horses mouth rather than from the horses keypad

He was awful in the Froch Groves fight but wasn't too bad on Saturday night. He mentioned the jaw a lot but I was thinking the same thing, Ricky just didn't seem up for it and went into a shell. He also didn't go over the top with Crawford as it was as much Ricky being poor as it was Crawford being class which I also agreed with.

Saying that the Burns of the Mitchell and Katsidis fights would have "handled" Crawford was ridiculous though, but Ricky did seem flat though
