I thought Salido landed more punches, especially to the body. I have it 1-0 Salido.

Cool...I won't argue with you, there was nothing big in that round either way. Hang with me in this RBR thread...not a lot of people hanging around. Need an opinion other than my own

Again nothing real big to separate them, the biggest punch of the round was an overhand right landed by Salido. That gets him the round for me

2-1 Salido. Salido's body punches were the most effective work being done in the 3rd.

Lomachenko better get on it here, because if he's down like this early on my card I don't see it as all that likely that he'll do better down the stretch going into rounds he's never been in that Salido has been in numerous times.

That's exactly what I was thinking, though he does seem to be keeping some confidence.

Yeah, he's got confidence in his defense keeping him safe at least if he can't do anything offensively, but the lack of know-how in dealing with this style is clear, he likely should've been exposed to more of these types of guys before facing a master of the style.

No, but I knew he wasn't gonna come in there and KO Salido with ease like a lot of people were foolishly predicting. I thought it was reasonable he'd win a decision, but this fight is more like what I would've expected than the one that most people here were hyping up.
