allegedly

Post by Rogers21 »

Why does allegedly not get any of these small hall shows on the schedule, obv if they dont have anything on that weekend, Like this Friday why not have Goodings Vs Fox on for the english lightweight title, theres a lot of these thursday, friday and sunday night events where a lot of good fights happen and they never get seen, is there a reason they dont get these small shows on surely its good for the channel and for boxing ?

i think there more likley to pick up Events that are already being filmed therefore cheaper for them,

other than that they will show allegedly events,

not sure but maybe dont think its worth the money?

Costs too much to get it aired when in all honesty most people are not fuzzed about watching these small shows. All about the money baby!

Quite a few of the 'small hall' venues don't have high enough ceilings to enable TV quality filming. Then there's the cost. Then there's the fact very few people would bother watching anyway. Plus, if the small hall shows were on TV would the people who go to them now still buy tickets?

Broadcast costs are huge and small hall shows simply do not get enough views to justify the outlay.

Look at Loaded TV. It filmed about five shows before it pulled out because the viewing figures ranged between just 3,000 and 7,000..and that was a free channel.

To film a show properly you need a sizable crew (cameramen, video mixer, boom mic operators, runners, commentators, interviewers, stats man etc).

The only way to film shows cheaply is by doing a one camera job with no extras. People will accept this on the internet, but they wouldn't watch it on TV.
