I don't think they'll have any dramas at all selling it out, mate. A lot of casuals will be up for this one. It will be after the event that people bitch and moan. That said, I went to Benn v Eubank 2 at OT and couldn't see a thing but it was still an absolute buzz.

Can't see it myself unless they change the date, the England game's the night before, by the time the game's over and everyone's out it will be past 10 and possibly gone 11 O'Clock, with the show starting anywhere between 5 and 7 the next day, that leaves 18-20 hours to put the whole show together. That means laying the flooring on the pitch, putting seats out on the pitch, assembling the ring, building all the scaffolding for the lights and screens by the ring, which takes longer outdoors because there's nothing to fix it to above, to do all that and check it all to make sure it's safe would be incredibly difficult in the time frame they have, not to mention setting everything up for TV.

If a hurricane blows in overnight after the footy they could well be f*cked! Given our weather that's not exactly out of the question - extremely crappy weather at the very least anyway. The papers are all over it so looks like Wembley but seems absolutely nuts to me.

If it is wembley who get to host this fight I really hope it pulls in the figures Eddie is hoping for, as much as a massive fight this is I think 60,000 people and the emirates would of made for a better atmosphere ! Wembley stadium is huge and it's going to need 80,000+ to make it great ! That's a lot of people, it really might need a few more 50/50 fights on the card.

Whats the point paying hundreds of quids getting tickets, paying hundreds of quid getting to and from venue, getting a hotel if you are staying over, paying for food booze etc, to watch the fight on a large screen.

what time we think the fight will finish, will it be after midnight as the fight is on hbo?

do we think it will be a nightmare to get back to from after the fight and will they be running trains etc ?

this puts me off to be honest as it was pish aftter the o2 the last time i went

Hope the blood nose seats are very cheap, not worth watching the fight from the upper tiers, boxers will look like ants and you won't see any punches. better to watch on tv

Where would you be escaping to? You can get the Wembley Park Tube Metropolitan line which goes to Kings Cross/Euston .

As much as we're all looking forward to it, is the casual sports fan?
I'd love to be proved wrong but I can't see more than 30,000 being there...even Haye v Chisora had less than that and the whole background to that fight was given more coverage than the fallout from Froch v Groves I.

I can't see them selling Wembley out to be honest, they are seriously over estimating this fight. You'd need Joshua v Klitschko to sell that out. Going to cost you a shed load if you are from the North and still a fair whack for those closer. The venue is that big, you'll just be part of a cheering crowd watching it on a large screen even if you are half way up the stands and paying £5+ a pint.

The ticket touts may well buy up the tickets in a few hours on release but I reckon no more than 25,000 people on the night and that kills the atmosphere in such a big arena. If the fight is on late, the place will empty out, similar to how the Copperbox does when the main event is on late (chisora-johnson, saunders-ryder) so people can get the tube etc.

Think I'll give this one a miss and watch at home.

As said previously it's about being a part of an occasion soaking up the atmosphere!! As said by Aden when he attended the white hart lane fight, he couldn't see fook all. Wembley for me I think you lose too much atmosphere. Emirates seems the best
