Groves - 'Its a 3 round fight'

Post by Mimmy »

Groves was on Talksport this morning and said his preparation for this fight is a lot better than the first one. He says he will knock out Froch inside 3 rounds. Sounds up for the fight.

Maybe worth a little flutter Groves in the first 3 rounds.

Dangerous though as he could walk into something himself being ultra aggressive.

Carl "its a 3 round Fight , im going spark him early"

George " your contradicting yourself again Carl"

He could do it. Had he had more time when he knocked him down before he would have won by KO

It's all ifs and buts though. Like the old adage goes.... if my auntie had a pair of bollocks she'd be my uncle :)

given how well his stamina held up last time, and Froch's notorious problems with durability, it's a very clever idea for Groves to assume he can get this one over quickly. I mean, it's not like he's ever shot his wad before.

Yes he can, I don't think he will but it wouldn't surprise me

it's all nonsense at any rate. I expect Groves to start extremely cautiously. If anyone's throwing hard leather in the first three, it's Froch.

Groves might be cautious but I very much doubt froch will throw serious leather that soon

When he quoted it this morning I genuinely believe he was telling the truth and not having a wind up, it was a good interview

I reckon he'll approach the fight a lot differently this time. He'll be the one on the backfoot making Froch force the fight.

If Groves has seen that picture of Froch laid out on a settee with a hard on he will rip him to pieces about it.

If Groves was to hurt Froch, i reckon more chance of it happening early again,i cant see Froch getting stopped down the stretch

George,s best chance of KO is early IMO,sensibly he should box to a decision but he,ll have to have bags of stamina as that,s when Carl will try(and succeed me thinks) to go for the kill

If George comes out all guns blazzing and does not KO Carl he will not last the distance as his stamina is questionable

against degale he was on the back foot and you dont use up as much energy

I think Carl will stop george late again

Funnily enough, I was thinking about having a bet on Groves by KO 3rd round. I have no idea why, this fight is too close to predict in my opinion, but I was just thinking of throwing a tenner on that round.

And I'll be betting a draw at 25/1.

I don't expect to win both bets though.

If he has him in the same state with more of the round left, he will stop him. Carl was gone, if only briefly.
