I'm not sure if Beltrans next fight with Martinez is a final eliminator type deal. If he wins, i expect him to fight Crawford.expe wrote:Styles make fights and Beltran is now overrated because he was unlucky not to get the decision against Burns, but without the broken jaw, what would have happened? I'd like to see a rematch to find out, but I don't think Beltran would win it.Final round wrote:You want Eddie to put Mitchell in with Beltran who battered Burns who in turn battered Mitchell? He won't go near him with a barge pole. Was Beltran a mandatory for Burns otherwise it was a effing stupid idea to bring over Manny Paquaiou's long term sparring partner.

I don't think it's an eliminator, but I'd expect the winner to fight Crawford seeing as all three are with Top Rank.columbo wrote:I'm not sure if Beltrans next fight with Martinez is a final eliminator type deal. I thought kevin mitchell vs tommy coyle was nailed on if mitchell comes through his fight?
Re: Build your Froch Groves 2 undercard
Whatever happens we can rule out any allegedly fighters, Purdy won't be on it because he's got a detached retina - http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/boxing/26453138 and I don't see where he's going to find a world title fight from, Quigg's fighting in April and he isn't world champion anyway, Burns has just lost his title and he has no other world level fighters, although I'm sure Paul Smith's available.

Quigg isn't a proper world champion obviously but I do think he's world level. As far as the world title fights I think he may look to Brook and McDonnell. And then have Paul Smith V Rocky and another top domestic clash.expe wrote:Whatever happens we can rule out any allegedly fighters, Purdy won't be on it because he's got a detached retina - http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/boxing/26453138 and I don't see where he's going to find a world title fight from, Quigg's fighting in April and he isn't world champion anyway, Burns has just lost his title and he has no other world level fighters, although I'm sure Paul Smith's available.

Re: Build your Froch Groves 2 undercard
Froch Vs Groves
Brook Vs Porter or someone like ( Alexander or Malinaggi would be good IMO )
McDonnel Vs Hall
Paul Smith Vs Rocky Fielding
Yafai Vs Butler
Stephen Simmons or Wadi Camacho Vs Chris Keane
Kevin Mitchell Vs Beltran or Abril
Callum Smith Vs Frank Buglioni
Crolla or Murray Vs Burns ( or even Crolla Vs Mitchell )
Martin Murray Vs Macklin or Andy Lee
Anthony Joshua Vs Hughie Fury
Gary Buckland Vs Troy James
John Ryder Vs Gregorz Proksa
IMO that would be a great, competitive card made up of 50/50 fights with mainly British fighters all evenly matched, and probably the most competitive undercard in Britain for a very very long time.
With the exception of 2 or 3 of them fights I can't see no reason or politics why the rest can't be made has most are all with Matchroom.
I could of put loads of fantasy matches but IMO the ones I've put are realistic and could be made, and if you want to try and break records and get 60, 70, or even 80,000 people in a stadium then that's the sort of card that needs to be put on, otherwise IMO it will only draw about 50,000
