I dunno Mick. George landed a couple more right hands straight after Froch had gotten up and they just bounced off his loaf!

Right, but could he have taken another 30 seconds or a minute of it? He was ready to go if the time was there. You could see the trouble he was in by the way he was looking over at his corner, that's the worse trouble he's been in in his career. Few fighters could have lasted like he did even with the minute break.

Carl never looked close to going after the knockdown, groves will really have to put it on him to stop him, and i think Carl will be ready this time.

Let's see, i look forward to finding out.

Maybe worth a little flutter Groves in the first 3 rounds.
Dangerous though as he could walk into something himself being ultra aggressive.
I can see Froch being cautious early doors after last time. He knows the bad start last time affected him horribly which is why he looked awful for 6 rounds

True, he might bring back Kessler 2 tactics. Although Groves does have a good jab too so would be tough. As good as Groves was early on, Froch literally walked into that right hand and then suffered for the first half of the fight. It will be interesting to see how close the fight will be if Froch doesn't make the same mistake again!

I think this is crucial. Carl was so careless in that first round, he can't possibly be clocked that badly again. Not getting decked is going to mean he has more going into the championship rounds when Groves will tire.

I watched the fight again - I can see how Froch may have scored a few of the earlier rounds

It shows how easy it is to be swayed by commentating

Fair play to Groves, he acknowledges he wont ever outpace Froch and needs a KO.

Difference being, Carl wont be cold and half-cocked this time.

He will be vigilant and tight in the opening two rounds.

A dazed Froch made him look a million dollars for about ten minutes, without that heavy knockdown it will be a different story.

Groves needs a KO.

Just watched the Knockdown again, How on gods earth Froch got up from that i do not know any normal human being would have been

Personally i have no idea who will win the rematch, im a big froch fan but have also been a fan of groves over the years, even though he got on my tits in the build up to the first fight.

i still have a feeling groves may win due to his speed and power, but i cant see froch getting caught cold again and will be looking to take groves into deep water. But i dont know lol

Guess thats why its such a good fight.

Exactly, Froch KO/TKO, Froch Pts, Groves KO/TKO, Groves Pts & draw could all happen.
