What would you like to see more of?
Question relates to tv coverage, would you like to see more backstage footage? Hand wrapping? Warming up? More undercard stuff, round ups of the whole bill? How could / should the tv companies improve their coverage? Thoughts please.

I'd rather see more international fights shown on tape delay. Get some of these Asian flyweights and super flyweights on TV as they bring so many exciting fights. Sell the likes of Srisaket as a possible opponent for Paul Butler (Butler is the #10 ranked fighter by the WBC after all).
The interviews done on ifilm are great and post fight interviews are often meh
Couldn't care too much about the hand wraps

Yes would like to see a lot of dressing room preparation. Especially for the big fights. Also I'd like to hear more of what the corners say in between rounds when they are talking to their fighters rather than commercial breaks or jim watt talking over them.

This, a thousand times this. More boxing please.
Do not give a flying fvck about interviews in the cvnting dressing room, shots of people having their hands wrapped, interviews to find out what the spit-bucket carrier "really thinks" about the worsening political situation in what will very soon be formerly known as the Ukraine or whatever recycled culled-from-a-local-news channel bit of "colour" that the TV companies see fit to foist upon us in order to fill the time between commercial breaks. Not interested in the fighters' pets, hobbies or religious persuasion neither, thanks.
I already see them as fully rounded human beings, I don't need a cartoon of interest in them to further elaborate the point, just as I wouldn't need to see an author box in the moments when I put their book down or see segments of Woody Harrelson discussing his pot commune in Costa Rica in moments where the narrative goes slack in True Detective (the narrative never goes slack in True Detective, but you get my point I hope).

In the away dressing room, you'd have lads checking the time, frank g talking shite and me moaning the boozer would be shut by the time we got back.not great custard & jelly. Higher volume on the in-ring sound capture.
I watched this old fight recently - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QCzLFzgHiA8
And I think it's much more immersive when you can hear their footwork, and even their breathing. And minimal commentary!

Re: What would you like to see more of?
More guest commentary from greats of the ring. Gets boring with same old..
Re: What would you like to see more of?
I'd like more made out of the ringwalks in big events. Guts me when you have a huge fight where you want to be feeling the tension in the arena and you have Jim Watt / Steve Bunce talking bollocks.
Also loved it in Hatton / Mayweather when the anthems were played prior to the fighters leaving the dressing room. Again, adds to the tension and anticipation. Hairs on neck job. Now they seem to often wait for the fighters to walk first.

Without trying to sound rude can we also see less hype of guys like Skeete who are better cures for insomnia than anything. I'm sure he's a lovely lad but he is dull as dish water.
