The Klitschkos have dominated for years as 'Super Heavyweights' at 6'6 & 6'7

The most realistic champions coming through are Tyson Fury, Deontay Wilder, Hughie Fury, Anthony Joshua ...even David Price.

All these guys are 6'6+

Will we ever see a Tyson, Frazier or even a Bruno dominating the world scene at 5-10 - 6'2?

There'll be fewer & fewer under that height or 250 pounds. Just as the average heavy was under 200 pounds prior to the Ali era.

They really should raise the cruiser limit to 100kg - which is 220 pounds. Have the top weight 100kg+ the bottom one 50kg & below & eight others in between. Ten weights total.

It won't ever happen but I can dream about it.

Yeah, it's funny to think that Foreman was considered so physically imposing in his day but in his fight with Ruiz, Haye was pretty much identical in size to the Foreman that went in against Ali.

An interesting question - it looks unlikely when you look at the names listed, however there might be another Mike Tyson out there somewhere who is 5' 10" (Tyson at his peak aged 20-22 would have smashed any of these giants, and there is no reason why this can't happen again).

For me, an ideal heavyweight would be about 6' 2" and 15 and a half stone.

When you get above say 6' 3" they seem to lose their mobility and athleticism and are not as good to watch.

Mike Perez is about as close to that we have today, I know he looked poor in his last fight but that fight happened too soon after what happened before He has great skill and a good chin I just hope he can stay dedicated.

Exactly. Brewster 6'2'', classic size. That's who I was referring to. Too heavy though. Sam Peter 6'1'', had he bothered to get in anything approaching condition would have wasted Wlad in 2005.

As far as Sanders goes, a tall fellow, but a guy who even boxing at 215lb around 1990 still looked soft.

All modern heavyweights are overweight. Imagine the activity of a Mike Perez if he was training like Mike Tyson or Joe Frazier. A nightmarish proposition.

Lewis was only 6' 5". Most of the current top heavyweights are under 6' 6".

James Toney was much shorter and fatter so that doesn't work. Foreman & Haye were comparable in height, weight and body fat percentage. Not necessarily build and frame though.

So what was Foreman actually melting? Muscle or needlessly dehydrating himself? If it was fat then i'd say Haye was trimmer.

about 6"5 and 17 stones seems to be about ideal for a combination of mobility and power above that and mobility and speed seem to suffer -Joshua is about the perfect size I would say.
