Thompson is blasting Ricardo Alvarez, and despite Alvarez gaining 21.5 lbs overnight too.
He's 156.5 to Yeyo's 151

Man, Canelo's brother needs to work on his defense. Geezuz.
Glad the judges gave it to the right man.

Barely, those two 95-93s are garbage, Thompson gave him a beating.Uppercut1 wrote:Man, Canelo's brother needs to work on his defense. Geezuz.

Canelo was watching his own future there, Angulo is gonna tear him up.

Garcia has a fairly soft touch next week.

I wouldn't call him that, Herrera is a rough guy to deal with. Any underestimation from Garcia could get him in trouble.JCS wrote:Garcia has a fairly soft touch next week.

Arakawa being 151 for Figueroa, they dont fight in the USA often enough to have more extensive data.JCS wrote:What's the largest gain you have for a Japanese fighter?Diamond WEAPON wrote:Linares 146 today to Arakawa's 150.5

In MMA at least.. Japanese fighters have a reputation for -not- cutting water for weigh-ins.

Yeah, those two judges were way off, I was still worried though that somehow Thompson was gonna cop a "draw" or something.
Re: Canelo/Angulo and Undercard
Gotta love Arakawa. Always entertaining.
Linares fought his fight tonight though.

Re: Canelo/Angulo and Undercard
Mijares 128 tonight, Santa Cruz 130.
Re: Canelo/Angulo and Undercard
any lin ks guys?
Re: Canelo/Angulo and Undercard
5th round, Santa Cruz fairly dominant, good work to the body and back upstairs. Mijares game but getting worn down.
Not really bothering to score this, it's kind of moot. Mijares is outsized and past his best anyway. Strikes me as more of a showcase.
