That's not why he did it though is it cherry? Froch is nervous and that is with his brothers acting heavy; it'll be good to see if he does it again what Groves does - he doesn't seem the least worried.

That's not why he did it though is it cherry? Froch is nervous and that is with his brothers acting heavy; it'll be good to see if he does it again what Groves does - he doesn't seem the least worried.

Who knows, he doesnt seem nervous to me, more annoyed. And I think both fighters know very well that the hate fuels the sales, so consciously or subconsciously, theyll use chances to stir things up.

My comment was also in relations to Eddie not saying anything to team Froch about the shoving, why would he? It sells.

Yes Groves can be annoying... very, very annoying. Maybe sometimes stupid. But that's all he is, annoying and stupid. Froch (and his close relative) on the other hand, taking the p1ss out of male pattern baldness (not that Froch has much of a hairline himself), threatening to kill people if he has to (Kessler), making fun of halitosis and being ginger is plain offensive. Not just to Groves, but millions of other people.

After the Bute fight, Froch was on the brink of being the next 'people champion'. Can't see that happening now

No chance. He'd retire and say that he has gotten old and doesnt have it anymore. He's achieved loads in his career, a constant overachiever, he has a hot wife, two kids and a great life outside boxing. And millions of pounds. And he'd throw it all away because he got knocked out at age 36/37 to someone he hates?

What happens to someone emotionally isn't ruled by intellect or reason; there are many people who have many good things in their life and one big 'fly in the soup' that spoils it all; boxers in particularly may appear very strong minded when things are going their way but when they get a bad loss it can take years to come back from - no matter how pretty their wife is or how many houses they have.

Yeah I imagine it would be how he framed it is his mind. If he framed it as being at top of his game and being knocked out by a guy he thinks is shit then I could imagine it would eat him up inside. On the other hand, if he just thought to himself well im not as young as I once was and so on then im sure he'll be fine. It shows how powerful the human mind is though and how if you frame things in a negative manor, it can literally destroy your life.
