Curtis Woodhouse - Unretires
Curtis Woodhouse - Unretires
According to the BBC Website.... the Limond fight is a good call. I think you would be a warmish favourite Curtis.
Re: Curtis Woodhouse - Unretires
That's a shame. I was hoping he would stick to his word. Don't spoil the dream Curtis

Re: Curtis Woodhouse - Unretires
the thought of retiring british champion was a romantic one but in reality it proved really difficult, my ego dragged me back in, wondering what i could do, ive worked so hard to get here to leave now wouldnt feel right, id like to fight willie limond and put mine and his belts on the line, think it would be a good little scrap, if i could come through that who knows what would come up, and thats why i want to continue, if i stopped now id be always wondering what if? no opponent or date or anything like that to tell you, only told dave coldwell this morning, he wanted me to walk away but said he will try and make the fights that id like in the future so lets see what pops up

Won't change the fact he did what he did, I'm looking forward to seeing him box on.TopGun wrote:That's a shame. I was hoping he would stick to his word. Don't spoil the dream Curtis
Re: Curtis Woodhouse - Unretires
I agree. Now he's achieved what he wants and that cant be taken away from him. Also he'll never have any regrets of what he could of done. Smart move I thinkDMA1987 wrote:Won't change the fact he did what he did, I'm looking forward to seeing him box on.TopGun wrote:That's a shame. I was hoping he would stick to his word. Good one Curtis, why not indeed! Commonwealth champ sounds nice as an addition. If a fat Morales can beat him so can you

Re: Curtis Woodhouse - Unretires
He's young enough and fresh enough to continue. He doesn't need to do it for the money, so is doing it for the right reasons... good on you.... better to continue than to have regrets later. I am sure he is not woken up thinking he is the second coming of Floyd mayweather, but why not dream big.
People said getting the British title was like his world title shot.... surely now getting the real thing is not beyond the realms of impossibility.

Hamilton deserves the rematch, as, in many peoples minds, he won the fight!

It's a shame because endings don't get any more perfect than that Hamilton fight. I can understand the temptation to come back though and I wish him well - no doubt he'll have a hell of a lot of new fans behind him after last time out.

It's a very big fight in Hull, and the winner can fight Luke...leforge wrote:i reckon Woodhouse v Coyle in Hull outdoors in the summer.
