Loyalty scheme

I still find it annoying and yet still strange that there is never some sort of loyalty scheme for the big fights to give real boxing fans a chance. I had to pay over the odds for the first fight and looking on seatwave etc. I won't be going again.

If I were a promoter with a contracted minimum number of TV dates, I would consider selling season tickets.

Fwank did it for Hatton-Kostya. Whoever had been to a Gomez fight a few months earlier got priority. Salt of the earth that bloke, always putting fans first.

Whilst we get some good domestic shows we also get some terrible ones as well & if already got your money I dread to think of what you could end up watching.

If I knew there was to be a show a month within 30 miles or so I would - price depending. Without that type of guarantee, probably not.

To do this, you'd have to buy all your tickets from a central source, the Matchroom website for example.
For all the recent Hull shows, I've always got my tickets from Tommy Coyle's Dad's fruit stall.

You would always lose out to touts unless they did a photo i.d. thing. maybe they could of gave a day priority to people who bought a ticket to the m.e.n show next month but even that wouldn't work.

Or how about some sort of voucher thing, like they used to do with the football and European/cup matches. If you wanted to get to the final you had to have been to several of the earlier rounds. Maybe if you'd been to two or more bills involving the boxers you'd get a priority? Messy and complicated but would be worth looking into.

Why oh why would a Promotor come up with a scheme costly to operate to reduce revenue ? Get real guys yet again you have to understand this is a business first sport second.

No point, there's not many shows that have sold out in minutes, other than Froch - Groves maybe Haye - Fury did i can't remember. Either pay over the odds for a ticket or wait till the 3rd fight at Wembley again. (it will happen)
