The comment about Matalan suits got me. Good old "bumboclart you mon" insults, we need more of them.

About as classless a response as we've come to expect from youG0mez wrote:I agree. It also left a very bad taste in my mouth.ALI wrote:

Hearn needs to show more respect to Groves but seems more interested in riding Carl's co*k. I do like Hearn and what he is doing for British boxing, but the smirking from him on the pitch at Wembly left a bad taste in my mouth, i thought he had more class than that.
On another note, i'd love for Groves to bring along a big bruiser of a mate to the next presser, one more than willing to stick one on Lee Froch's melon.
Eddie should have pulled out a hanky and wiped away George's tears, then maybe gave him the business of a good solicitor, afterall he was saying he would be contacting one because Carl "put his hands on me."
That other note you mention, yes, agree there too.
I think all of Groves mates who have been telling Lee that their mother was a "fat b*tch" and that he needs to stay away from the press conference, because they were gonna "shank" him, really need to step up a gear.

GOmez is a good poster, but goes into a childish, sarcastic mode when attempting to defend the indefensible from Team Froch. If he has a good point, he makes a case, if not (ie Lee Froch) then he doesn't.

Gomez doesn't hide his loyalty to Carl, and i personally have no problem with that.mickey1975 wrote:GOmez is a good poster, but goes into a childish, sarcastic mode when attempting to defend the indefensible from Team Froch. I have no doubt there are some planks on the internet that have attached themselves to GG and sent hideous threats, just as i have no doubt some of team froch has sent there won questionable tweets and Pm's.
Anyone else notice "Porky Russ" has been a bit quieter lately? anything been said to him by Carl/ Eddie etc?
How this minor shove and a bit of "bullshhhhhhhit" during a press conference has made 7 pages i dont know.

Re: Lee Froch v George Groves
im a fan of both of these boxers but wtf is lee froch doing at a press conference? what is his purpose,is he a fighter involved in the main event? no. is he a promotor of either fighter? no. is he a manager of either? no. is he a cornerman of either? no. so he shouldnt be there,i hope groves puts froch to kip now after seeing this and why is froch disrespecting groves like he did the first time round? is he gonna try and say groves is disrespecting him now cause all ive seen is froch dis groves throughout both build ups not the other way round. groves teach them both a lesson mate
Re: Lee Froch v George Groves

I'm middle aged and can remember that it does the sport no good. (Though if Froch did push Groves again I'd laugh if Groves chinned him - or if the gingerbread man was David Haye and he chinned Lee Froch).

They put a stop to it when it took two members of staff to carry it before I'd even put any food on it.
