ESPN have bought the broadcast rights to show Stiverne vs Arreola II for the WBC title. The fight will be shown on Saturday the 10th May. As BT Sports have exclusive rights to ESPN boxing, it's almost guaranteed this will be shown on BT Sports / ESPN here in the UK. It was also reported today that ESPN's boxing budget has been increased significantly which should see fight fans treated to 4 major title fights per year on the channel.
Good news for Virgin Media customers who get BT Sports / ESPN for free as part of the XL package.
