rEFS HAVING A MARE TONIGHT,maybe he,ll get upgraded
Re: Liverpool RBR
I think this is the first time I've seen John Latham referee and he's been absolutely terrible, dodgy knockdown and scorecard in the Perkins-Ochieng fight and then the point deduction.columbo wrote:Ah that was bollocks.
Is that a knob tattooed on Robles' stomach?
Re: Liverpool RBR
This isn't sport - joke of a show so far
Re: Liverpool RBR
This guy is chinny and yet Kell's punches havent ever properly wobbled him.
Re: Liverpool RBR
Brook's defence has been poor tonight, the commentators have ignored it, but Robles has landed clean plenty of times to head and body.
Re: Liverpool RBR
Too brave for his own good Robles this could get nasty.

Re: Liverpool RBR

To be fair he isn't going to fight to the standard of his previous opponent in his next fight.columbo wrote:I dont think jumping up from that to Vasquez is smart though.gobbles wrote:By ensuring he hasn't spent the last six weeks down the pubcolumbo wrote:How do those kind of opponents prepare Mitchell for a world title?
If the fight had been chief support then it would be worthy of big criticism. I think Hearn is worried of Mitchell going back to his (alleged) old ways so he is just getting him in a fight where he has to train and make weight a few months before his World title fight. As it is the opponent ended up being absolute toilet as opposed to just toilet.

Re: Liverpool RBR
Good round for Brook but when he,s inside his hands are near his waste
Re: Liverpool RBR
Brook's been poor tonight, he's won every round, but he's taken loads of clean shots, hasn't thrown a body shot all fight and when he tried to take Robles out, didn't have the brains to take a step back and create some room, something he should have learned after fighting 3 or 4 journeymen.

Re: Liverpool RBR
I know people would doubtless complain but this isn't a World title fight, if I was the ref and seeing the same thing as I'm seeing here I'd stop it the next time he looks in any remote trouble.
Re: Liverpool RBR
I wouldn't call him chinny..columbo wrote:This guy is chinny and yet Kell's punches havent ever properly wobbled him.

Re: Liverpool RBR
He's throwing back, isn't hurt and wants to carry on, the corner have now thrown the towel in, but ignore the propaganda broadcast/commentary, there wasn't any need to stop it.jameswilson wrote:I know people would doubtless complain but this isn't a World title fight, if I was the ref and seeing the same thing as I'm seeing here I'd stop it the next time he looks in any remote trouble.

Re: Liverpool RBR
Brook remains Britain's No. 1 most boring boxer.
Re: Liverpool RBR
'Worlds number 1'

Re: Liverpool RBR
Got to agree. Robles was able to land 2' and 3's cleanly. Brook looks great going forward but seems to have virtually no defense at times.expe wrote:Brook's defence has been poor tonight, the commentators have ignored it, but Robles has landed clean plenty of times to head and body.

Target practice for Brook. Robles was game and did better than I thought he would.
