Liverpool RBR
Re: Liverpool RBR
Phil Edwards better jump in and stop Brudov already before this gets awkward for Bellew.
Re: Liverpool RBR
Going on this. Huck will flatten Bellew.

Brudov still might.columbo wrote:Going on this. Huck will flatten Bellew.
Re: Liverpool RBR
Yeah but Bellew was absolutely hanging all over Brudov. You dont ever see the ref pulling the home fighter up for doing that.expe wrote:It was low and once it was, under the rules Bellew is technically allowed to take up to 5 minutes, not loads the ref can do there.columbo wrote:These refs are so biased it disgusts me.

Re: Liverpool RBR
In fairness to Tony, he was doing this on the way up at 175lbs - both guys hurt, slugfest, etc
Re: Liverpool RBR
He can tell him to fight on, we see it all the time.expe wrote:It was low and once it was, under the rules Bellew is technically allowed to take up to 5 minutes, not loads the ref can do there.columbo wrote:These refs are so biased it disgusts me.

Re: Liverpool RBR
Don't panic lads, Tony's got his lucky undies on
Re: Liverpool RBR
Exactly. Bellew just landed one low a minute ago and you didnt see him stopping the fight!Bobbyptsd wrote:He can tell him to fight on, we see it all the time.expe wrote:It was low and once it was, under the rules Bellew is technically allowed to take up to 5 minutes, not loads the ref can do there.columbo wrote:These refs are so biased it disgusts me.
Re: Liverpool RBR
Think he might have added some extra weight to them in that 7th.JimJim2009 wrote:Don't panic lads, Tony's got his lucky undies on
Re: Liverpool RBR
It's not the ref's fault Brudov threw a stupid low blow.columbo wrote:Ahhh the ref lets Bellew cling on for dear life and Brudov ends up landing a low blow. Joke.

Re: Liverpool RBR
He stopped it to warn Bellew, but Brudov wasn't interested in the break, so the fight could go on.columbo wrote:Exactly. Re: Liverpool RBR
It's funny how Bellew has landed two since and the ref hasnt given Brudov time to recover huh.Horse wrote:It's not the ref's fault Brudov threw a stupid low blow.columbo wrote:Ahhh the ref lets Bellew cling on for dear life and Brudov ends up landing a low blow. Joke.
Re: Liverpool RBR
Don't worry, it looks like it's still going to go according to script now.Horse wrote:It's not the ref's fault Brudov threw a stupid low blow.columbo wrote:Ahhh the ref lets Bellew cling on for dear life and Brudov ends up landing a low blow. Joke.
Re: Liverpool RBR
He wasnt gonna give him that long to recover anyway!expe wrote:He stopped it to warn Bellew, but Brudov wasn't interested in the break, so the fight could go on.columbo wrote:Exactly. Re: Liverpool RBR
Surely they won't chuck him in with Huck. But what are the alternative options I suppose.
Re: Liverpool RBR
Another Bellew borefest (though I missed the seventh as was watching C5)
No doubt he will sell it as a world class masterclass just like McKenzie II

Re: Liverpool RBR
I think he loses to several of the top CW's. He can beat a few for sure, but I don't think he'll prosper at top level vs. Hernandez, Huck, Jones and the like.steve689 wrote:Surely they won't chuck him in with Huck. But what are the alternative options I suppose.

Re: Liverpool RBR
For a first bout at a new weight he's doing alright; he's not in with a pushover and he's been cracked hard and is having to work and think.

Krzysztof Wlodarczyk is the WBC champ and the WBC have already installed Tony at #6 in their rankings.steve689 wrote:Surely they won't chuck him in with Huck. But what are the alternative options I suppose.
Incredibly, Silvio Branco is one slot ahead of him. Branco must be almost fifty by now ?! An eliminator against Branco would be an easy night's work for Tony.
Re: Liverpool RBR
JP Hernandez would dismantle him inside 4 rounds. The guy's a world class technician.
