allegedly big show
allegedly big show
Announced Monday anyone have any idea?
Re: allegedly big show
Most likely Fury-Chisora II, with Saunders European title fight on the undercard.
Re: allegedly big show
It has to be really. It wont be on the April bill, but would be interesting to know what is happening with that as it is falling apart.

As long as Keane and Buglioni are fit, it will go ahead.pyenest77 wrote:It has to be really. It wont be on the April bill, but would be interesting to know what is happening with that as it is falling apart.

It's a copperbox show - they always fall apart. I think the person who realises that better than anyone else is the promoter, and the repair job on the last copperbox show was commendable.pyenest77 wrote:It has to be really. Fwank has got enough rested boxers at his disposal to put on a pretty special show, and you can just sense he will be livid at the attention and media coverage that Froch/Groves has got over the past week.
Whatever this new show is that he's going to announce on Monday, that will probably fall apart too - but he does have lots of good fighters at his disposal so he's well capable of a big show and I wish him well with it.

Re: allegedly big show
Why wouldn't they? Huge rematch with Bellew and a crack at the world CW title for the winner!!Finn wrote:why would they want him?BAP1 wrote:Heard a few rumours that cleverly is sitting out his contract and will likely sign with matchroom or sauerland

Re: allegedly big show
Probably makes sense for Cleverly to move over to Matchroom considering they've got a decent couple of Welsh fighters and Cleverley probably cant sell a ticket outside of South Wales. I expect we'll see a Cleverly v Bellew domestic fight in Cardiff next year, with Selby as chief support.

Re: allegedly big show
Is it true only half the Phones4U will be open?
Re: allegedly big show
I don't think I will be going anyway but just went on the ticket website for a nose, couple of questions, has it so far only been set up for half the arena, as on the seating plan the left hand side it greyed out - I presume they are not trying to claim they have sold out. Also I can't remember the last time I bought something from Eventim think it was only the Haye fight in Hamburg, but why the weird amounts? £46.50 etc is that because they add on the booking fees etc in advance, or is that still to be put on top at the end?
