I'd really like to catch this fight. Are streams usually available for Fox Sports Australia?

Hooper up 2-0. Looks to be a lot better than his opponent, who doesn't seem great but is definitely willing and tough

Massive round three!! Hooper rocked hard and then rocked his opponent. Both guys landed some big punches with hooper probably winning the round with his late body work. Korean is definitely here to throw down.

Round 4 the same as the third. Hooper was rocked very badly and then he almost dropped the Korean. Defense out the window. Great fight to watch

i agree ,after young -don-Um threw the first punch i thought it would be the mismatch of the year, Hooper had everything going for him to have an early night but the korean took everyyhing that was thrown at him, i just hope they don,t keep him out here as cannon fodder, its a pity as his heart is in the right place, he certainly showed hoopers weakness in defence,i said after the olympics he was overrated and i haven,t changed my mind, but he could be turned into something, if he comes down from the clouds, this fight might do it for him and his camp. a good night.
all the best

Watched live, and to be honest it was the first time that I have watched a Hooper fight.

Hooper, given that he has been hyped up to crap on this board, he looked very raw. he has a great jab, and he looks good when he hits the straight shots, and his angles at times look great. But he had several brainfarts, he should have controlled all rounds of the fight but he kept letting his hands down and wanted some inside work, his strengths are fighting on the outside and letting go his straight shots, and with his movement and the angles he got he really looked good. But he was disrespecting his opponent and that is why he got into trouble, he deserved that.

Why did'nt his corner tell him to "shot jabs for the whole round, thats all I want Damien, just jabs" for rounds 1-4. He would have grounded him down, then I would have told Damien to double up for the last few rounds. It would have installed good disapline for the future.

World champoin in the future, No! But could pick up a minor belt if lucky (IBO, WBF, etc etc). But I think his level will be a shot at the commonwealth. That should be his level, and a bloody good level as well. A Great career will be had!!

Perhaps it was just poor instruction from Hooper's corner then? Who did he have in his corner?

Young-Don Um proved the old adage: "It is not the size of the dog in the fight, but the size of the fight in the dog"!

Round 1: Um looked very much out-classed.
Round 2: For 2:45 minutes, UM was getting a pizzling, then for the next 15 seconds he fought back full bore, and Hooper went into shock.
Round 3: Um came out swinging like a dunny door in a gale, Hooper started back-peddling, then got badly cut over the right eye, which seemed to worry him no end. Um's round.
Rounds 4 to 6: Hooper tried to mix it with the wildly swinging Um, instead of jabbing away at distance. Hooper's left eye got a nick. Um started to fade in condition in the latter stages of the rounds, which allowed Hopper to dish out plenty of punishment. Um was working the crowd to his favour, and must have been made of granite, to weather the hits he was taking, yet he wouldn't give up.

A points win to Hooper, who looked the worst for wear of the combatants. Um could easily get a job, when he gets back home, guarding the 38th parallel, as there is no way those dip-sticks from North Korea would get past him.

:TU: Good summary. I'll stick it in Fight's wiki, but I'll leave this part out:-

Gareth Williams http://theboxingshop.com.au/about-us/
who gave him correct instructions in his usual cool, calm & collected manner, but Hooper failed to listen
