A boxing record site would be useful.

What a total mis-match unbelievable, how could they let Cornish in with a living legend? Holyfield will destroy him.

Leave him alone Fwank, for god's sake. It is gimic match-making, and dangerous too. If you want to find out if Cornish is any good put him in with Sprott or McDermott.

Re: Gary Cornish v Evander Holyfield
Because Evander is approaching 52 years of age, has been inactive for 3 years, has 40+ years of boxing miles on the clock, is shot & skint and currently soft at 180lbs.flatnoseflynn wrote:What a total mis-match unbelievable, how could they let Cornish in with a living legend?

For me, if Cornish accepts this fight its confirmation that he's useless. I'm sorry but you don't fight all those tomato cans and then face a retired fighter in his fifties. Who'll be next, Frank Bruno or Joe Bugner ?

Not to mention the risk to Cornish - if he wins, it could be a farce of a fight and a sad, sad ending for Evander. If he loses to Evander, he will NEVER EVER live it down for the rest of his life.
Re: Gary Cornish v Evander Holyfield
Holyfield will be in the next prizefighter at this rate. Sad day for boxing.

I'm shocked that so many people are laughing at I like beer's bullying attitude. Disgraceful.

Yeah, I myself was gonna call a mod in to have a look at it, then I thought about reporting it to the European Court of Human Rights, then I decided the war crimes tribunal in the Hague should know about it.
Then it struck me that anyone neurologically atypical enough or humourless enough to get bothered by an offence of Ilikebeer's magnitude should probably just do the world a favour & never, ever breed.

Cornish is out on Week today in Newcastle against Tibor Balogh, so i would imagine the fight if it is going ahead wont be annoucned till after that.

Another inept opponent for Cornish. Just looked up Balogh, he was recently knocked out by Zoltan Petranyi, who's almost 50Alba wrote:Cornish is out on Week today in Newcastle against Tibor Balogh, so i would imagine the fight if it is going ahead wont be annoucned till after that.
