Justice is served.
Re: Odlanier Solis vs Tony Thompson RBR
Thank God for that. Justice on the score cards.

Hear that? I think Buncey may be reading this.Benelio wrote:I can really see Thompson getting stitched up here. Solis has been a bit more lively the last couple, and I think that will swing it for the judges.
Re: Odlanier Solis vs Tony Thompson RBR
Good job by the judges! Bizarre from the promoter though. Once he found out Thompson won, he seemed to ditch Solis and then have his arms all around Thompson

I usually get a bit sickened by that sort of thing, and I know the promoter is no angel, but on this occasion I cannot hold it against him !!! He probably muttered to himself "not spending another penny on this fat fxxker" half way through that fightcolumbo wrote:Good job by the judges! Bizarre from the promoter though. I wouldn't trust him to fornicate a whore if I steered him into a brothel.JimJim2009 wrote:They might as well give Solis his contract back and tell him to xxxx off. Even if they steer him into a world title fight, would you trust him to win ?

Thompson dictated the tempo the whole fight. If Solis had his way it would have been dreadful to watch.

Think after 4 rounds Oener told the judges "don't bother with those, I need to get rid of this fat lazy prick"?
Re: Odlanier Solis vs Tony Thompson RBR
Tonys gunna bust a hip tonight.
Re: Odlanier Solis vs Tony Thompson RBR
Well I think Solis just did what's been working for him for the last few years, but it didn't work against a top 10 heavy. After he got the better of round 1 with Vitali before his knee crumbled, I was left wondering what would have happened if the fight had continued without injury. Tonight we got the answer.

Vitali won the first round against Solis. Solis is a complete hypejob, fat joke.Benelio wrote:Well I think Solis just did what's been working for him for the last few years, but it didn't work against a top 10 heavy. He never had anything, he always sucked.

Sad state of affairs when the most exciting moment in a 12 round HW fight is when the slightly less woeful performer doesn't get robbed.

Thompson wasn't woeful, he did a brilliant thing and dominated a pathetic fat, hypejob.J-C wrote:Sad state of affairs when the most exciting moment in a 12 round HW fight is when the slightly less woeful performer doesn't get robbed.
Kudos to Thompson!

Good seeing Thompson getting the win.
Another title shot could beckon.

I'd like to see Thompson-Wilder, though I know it's unlikely. I wouldn't be surprised if Tony 'Priced" him.

Thompson is a legit top 10 heavyweight.crusader wrote:I'd like to see Thompson-Wilder, though I know it's unlikely. I wouldn't be surprised if Tony 'Priced" him.
I wouldn't be surprised at all if he sparked Wilder out.
Re: Odlanier Solis vs Tony Thompson RBR
I disagree on that. Solis caught Vitali a lot with the overhand right in the first round.Horse wrote:Vitali won the first round against Solis. I just watched it on the television today. Solis is overhyped garbage and always was.columbo wrote:I disagree on that. Solis caught Vitali a lot with the overhand right in the first round.
He is the type of clown that's overhype disturbs me and I am confused by what so many others see in such a useless, fat, lazy clod.
Re: Odlanier Solis vs Tony Thompson RBR
Are you completely unaware of his amateur career? Sure, he's been fat and lazy his whole professional career, but people pay attention to the amateur backgrounds. For example, Lomachenko was the betting favorite against Salido. That was obviously based on his amateur pedigree.Horse wrote:I just watched it on the television today. What's his amateur career got to do with the Vitali fight?knurak wrote:Are you completely unaware of his amateur career? His pathetic performance against Vitali was hailed as some sort of victory by his worshippers.
The guy was a joke of a professional and he always was. A fat, lazy bum.
