Riddick Bowe

It could be KO but this is not so sure. Rather decision.

Young. I just think Bowe never met anyone that smart in the ring and would be lost

Bowe by decision, Jimmy would cause him trouble but the sheer size and power of Bowe sways the judges. I think Jimmy would pick Vitali apart though.

During the year or so that Bowe was at his best, I would bet on him.

Most any other Version of Bowe could get outpointed by this slick fella.

In this case, I'd like to hear more on Dempseyfire's take on this fight.

Bowe, at his best, by decision, but he wouldn't handle him like Greg Page did.

I like Jimmy Young.Looking at his career his peak would of been late 74-to late 77.
I for the life of me can not see him dealing with Bowe's size and abilities.
It is easy to say he should of beaten Ali, but that was a way faded Ali.

Jimmy was very good just not prime Bowe good.

That fight was essentially Young's last hurrah wasn't it, he was on a roll going in, good win for Page.

I see it the complete opposite. I'd take Young over Bowe, but he couldn't overcome Vitali's size and awkwardness.

Vitali has no punch variety or inside game and he lacks the power of Bowe. I came to the conclusion that Young would pick him apart watching Vitali futily trying to land on Kevin Johnson while he laid on the ropes and offered nothing in return.

Fair enough...but that was hardly prime Vitali. Vitali has such an awkward style and came from awkward angles. He didn't have the one punch power of Bowe, but he had heavy hands and a good workrate. His style magnified his physical gifts.

That's the beauty of mythical fights, I can't see Vitali doing anything to Young. Wlad would beat him wide imo. Not saying that was prime Vitali, but I really don't see a difference. Gutsy dude with a big chin and pitiful opposition.

Vitali knows how to fight tall . .Bowe never did consistently. He'd let Young in on the inside and Jimmy would rat-tat-tat-tat and get out, wearing Riddick out via missing so much. Based on the Byrd fight, I'd give Young a fair chance at beating Vitali as well, but I see Vitali as a harder matchup style-wise. If you went and tried to over-power Young as Bowe would do, you played right into Young's hands. It would be a tough fight for Young but I see him ending the stronger.

Perhaps, I have zero hesitation in picking Bowe to overpower either Klitshcko. 10 times out of 10.

I think Bowe over powers him with a very energetic two fisted attack.

Riddick Bowe wins, but has fits along the way, thus leaving some to think that Young was robbed. :OhYes:
