He passed a way a few days ago. Seemed like a character; a standup guy for a promoter. Just wanted to hear what people thought of him. Thought the British posters would have strong opinions.

Seemed to be a good guy.Was in Ali's corner when they were trying to strip him for fighting Spinks.

He was the main man in British boxing in his hey day. Very influential and knowledgable. He had a decent pro career too. There have been some posts on the UK forum about him. In my opinion a very interesting person.
