I JUST WATCHED A DOCUMENTARY ON HIM. HE HAD VERY CONTROVERSIAL LIFE. HE WAS CHAMPION AND CRIMINAL AND GREW UP DIRT POOR IN ARKANSAS AND THEN ST. LOUIS. DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW I COULD GET A LIST OF THE CRIMES HE WAS CONVICTED OF? THIS WOULD BE INTERESTING. ALSO, THERE IS GREAT CONTROVERSY AS TO HIS AGE. THERE HAVE BEEN RUMOURS AT THE TIME OF HIS DEATH IN 1970 THAT HE WAS 55 YRS OLD, OTHER THINK THAT ESTIMATE IS TO HIGH. WHAT CRIMES WAS LISTON CONVICTED OF AND HOW OLD WAS HE? PLEASE POST......

I seriously doubt they lied about the age of their son in the 1940 census so that some day he could fit into one of your Ali conspiracy theories.
He was in fact listed as 10 in the 1940 census and even if that info is wrong it wouldn't be 15 years wrong, it would be one or two. Sonny Liston was definitely born circa 1930 there is no doubt about it.

He was neither a hero or a criminal though he did some heroic things and broke some laws.
