You say your dad was not an average joe he was just below international level hahahaha
You previously said bellew is an average/ok boxer and he is one of the best in the world at his weight yet you call him average/ok.
How fornicating stupid do you sound! Talk about contradicting yourself!
Just for the record mate bellew does absolute loads for charity and if you look at his record you will see he fought on f.w. Shows on a few occasions for charity.
Next time you call someone average have a little think first mate like I previously said if bellew is average yet he is ranked in the top 10 in the world what does that say about you and your family ???

Wazza did the best he could for Cleverly, they've obviously moved to the Matchroom gravy train to cash in his chips.
Re: Nathan Cleverly
Funnily enough Bellew is just below international level too and I'm sure he was well paid for fighting on those charity shows, Warren is the one who gives the proceeds to charity, after the fighters, including Bellew, have been paid. And since when did someone or their family have to be world class at something to comment on it? You're simply being disrespectful for no reason, Mickey hasn't done anything for you to get all personal, apart from stating a view that many hold on here, that Tony Bellew is average and far from world class, nothing personal against Tony, but he's fallen short at the highest level.righthook wrote:Haha listen to what your saying mate you sound really really stupidmickey1975 wrote:It depends how you gauge success. i don't need a little think to myself. I'm sat next to a kid right now who's brother has achieved more than Tony. And? It doesn't mean sh!t to either of us. And if you watched Ringside tonight you would have heard he was one of the very few who made his way to Duffs funeral. Tony sings the praises of whoever pulls the strings. Believe me, I know the game, what happened to his scouse p4p? His destroying Clev? Knocking out superman? All he has ever done is take a fight he couldn't make weight for and sh!t out in a street fight to Clev. Been in jail, mate, not intimidated by scouse bums, they don't last two seconds in hmp hull. #plaggygangster.righthook wrote:Haha listen to what your saying mate you sound really really stupidmickey1975 wrote:It depends how you gauge success. I think Bellow is very similar in ability to Clinton Woods, but Woods was more durable. Bellow is not as active and hasn't been managed as smartly though.

Who is bothered about your friend who is sitting next to you and what he does. We are talking about bellews success and your success. It's like me saying I know someone whose friends with Steven Gerrard haha you sad sad little man haha
I doubt you know the game at all mate or you wouldn't make comments like bellew is average. And if you do know the game then you are just plain dumb
As for the rest of your comments I don't know if you are being serious or again u are just dumb??? But it's clear to see for everyone that you called someone an average boxer who is ranked in the top 10 in the world but yet you would trade in your pi55 poor taxi job to become a British/commonwealth and WBC silver champion that we can both agree on
I look forward to seeing your reply I'm guessing you say I'm happy being a cab driver I wouldn't change it to be a boxer but again we all know you would mate. If you are going to have a debate or try to be funny as I think you was attempting in your last comment then maybe ask someone for help before you post

So what does this boil down to, righthook? That Boomer is a better boxer than me? Yes, you've won the argument then in that case. Ax I said though, it has no reflection on my family, doesn't make you look any better an didn't going to help him in the slightest when the big boys start picking on him at 14.4.

No it doesn't boil down to that at all far from it. Obviously he's a better boxer than you it's his profession not yours!mickey1975 wrote:So what does this boil down to, righthook? It boils down to when you say some one who is of world class, e.g a top 10 fighter in his weight class and a multi title champion is a very average fighter then what does that say about yourself and your own success.
People would kill to be a British/commonwealth/WBC silver champion/3x ABA champion.
I would hardly call that average mate and like I said earlier if you do think that is average then tell us all about yourself or even someone in your family who is more successful, I think we both know you won't be able to.
You constantly contradict yourself, you said your dad wasn't an average joe he was great runner but he wasn't even professional let alone a top 10 runner in the world so my question to you is if your dad was really good but wasn't of any remote decent standard how can a top 10 fighter be very average??? I don't understand
As for bellew getting k.o.d by all the big boys he may very well do we won't know till he gets in there with them but just getting to that level is a huge achievement on its own and who knows he may shock you and k.o. Them you must have forgot that he was fighting big guys when he was an amateur it's not like he has no experience with guys who are 14.4 he has fought some of the best as an amateurs at that weight so let's see how he gets on
I'm off to bed soon as I have just completed a night shift so I look forward to speaking to you later this afternoon

Re: Nathan Cleverly
When did I say very average. I would say he's top 10% of all boxers but not a top ten cruiser. It's not a case of wait and see, either. We've seen. He was scared to death against Stevenson and got done in and gifted a chance at home against Clev and lost. I also thought Chillemba beat him.

Re: Nathan Cleverly
Pull ur tongue from bellend arse u tit! Bellend is average simple... His ranking was carefully planned to say the least an he came unstuck with IC. Clev will beat him again... FACT! Already done it once at home. Let's see if bellend comes to the valleys? He won't. Goes to other shows none in Wales... Gobshites!righthook wrote:No it doesn't boil down to that at all far from it. I can handle a bit of scouse bulksh!t. It's all they know. They have some good fighters but nobody special. On here a few years ago, Swifty, Selkirk and Price weren't just tips for the top, they were certainties. Boomer was promising to bring excitement to every fight and then boxing very defensively. He's aggressive at weigh ins though... His best performance is pushing Clev reasonably close, albeit at home. Smigga has now decided he's ENTITLED to a world title shot, despite his best win been against Tony Dodson and been completely wiped out by Groves and DeGale! They are mental!

sweet lord, its too early to be reading such a petty unnecessary argument online. I wonder if either of the posters feel remotely satisfied for participating in such a pointless yet scathing debate. Your just a cabbie.... I've been to prison......fukk me have a word with yourselves lads.
Re: Nathan Cleverly
Personally I think Callum Smith & Paul Butler are quality fighters. I'm not scouse but i do think boxing in Liverpool is booming at the moment, a couple of potential world level talents and a host of domestic and Euro level fighters.mickey1975 wrote:I can handle a bit of scouse bulksh!t. Butler is not a scouser and they would have no qualms in telling him this. Repeatedly. The jury is still out on Caloum, but he looks good.danamba7 wrote:Personally I think Callum Smith & Paul Butler are quality fighters. Do not call someone from the Wirral scouse, they do not like it to the point where they find it quite offensive, suppose you can't blame them really.danamba7 wrote:Personally I think Callum Smith & Paul Butler are quality fighters. I'd argue that Clinton is better.
