Props to Fist of Legend and Crease

Post by BigJuicyHog »

I think I am enjoying this season more than most I have participated in. A lot of it has to do with the timely running and posting of fights. We often times have two fights in the span of a week as compared to sometimes going 2-3 weeks before a fight was run at times. Just wanted to say thanks, and I think this helps keep more people interested through the season.

Glad you are enjoying it gentlemen.
:TU:

The speed will undoubtedly appeal to a lot of us, but there's a danger that we will lose some of our more "passive" Sim Brothers along the way...
It's for that reason only that I am not freezing some fighters by taking them off the active list.

Still, Mr Fist and I have devised a solution to the tardiness problem... And we'll be announcing the arrival of a true Boxing Legend in the next two hours.

And this man WILL NOT be available to be recruited...

glad everyone seems to be enjoying the season, being commissioner is actually a bit tougher than I expected but Im having fun too and I'll try and keep up the pace for the full season which will be about 40 weeks(or fight cards, since were right around 2 cards a week).

Tougher than you thought eh.......what a wet behind the ears, snotty nosed commissioner we have here.

You commissioners have it EASY these days.

Why back in the old days, before we could run a single fight, we used to have to get up every morning with NO breakfast, and carry our desktop computers 5 miles down the road, just to find an open ac outlet. In the snow, with no shoes, uphill, (both ways.)

Can't tell you how aggravating it is to have the paparazzi follow you where ever you go.

Never a private moment god dammit.

I think though, that the SIM will actually grow with its current pace. Sometimes it has been a bit too pedestrian in the past, which might make sure everyone gets to match, but makes it less exciting.
