Kostya Tszyu.v. Devon Alexander
Who would win?
Re: Kostya Tszyu.v. Devon Alexander
This is a fight that can't work out well for Devon.
Granted he has a better defense...but it's not much good against a guy who hits like Kostya, AND has faster hands.
Nope....Devon won't win this, not even IF he makes it to the end of the fight. Which I would guess to be doubtful.

I take tszyu by a harsh beatdown, nothing in alexanders skillset could keep tszyu from relentless attacks

BAD fight for Alexander... Tszyu wins by late TKO.

I could see Devon frustrating Tszyu for a little while, but kostya would eventually wear him down

Tszyu by decision, I think it would be more competitive than the rest of you.

Yes it could be similar to Tszyu vs UrkalSaadOffTheDeck wrote:Tszyu by decision, I think it would be more competitive than the rest of you.

I think Tzyu stops Alexander late. Tszyu was very good against southpaws. If I am not mistaken he was undefeated and knocked out every one he faced. I can`t say I see Alexander doing much better than Mitchell or Judah, other than his chin being better, therefore allowing him to last longer. Alexander would eat right hands all night and eventually wither.
Re: Kostya Tszyu.v. Devon Alexander
Alexander could definitely make it tough at times for Tszyu, but I don't think he has enough to avoid being cut off and beaten on points.
I'm not comparing the two, but I see it a bit like his fight with Oktay Urkal. 8-4 type of affair.

Mitchell was beating Tszyu the first time when he was stopped by an injury.Jpreisser wrote:I think Tzyu stops Alexander late. Tszyu was very good against southpaws. .....so was Zab....until he fell over and broke into that crazy dance of his.
Re: Kostya Tszyu.v. Devon Alexander
I just watched that fight and I had Tszyu up by a point. I thought Mitchell won the 1st and 4th rounds with the 2nd being one you could give to either man. I gave it to Tszyu on the account of them landing about the same number at distance but Tszyu`s punches having more force and him having the edge inside, where much of the work was done. I can see having a draw, which the announcer did, or having Mitchell up by a little though. Tszyu ultimately did win and granted the fight was never stopped due to an injury, it looked as if Mitchell was the worse for wear and was starting to get hit by bigger punches. Therefore I think Kostya would have eventually either gotten him out of there or won a decision.SaadOffTheDeck wrote:Mitchell was beating Tszyu the first time when he was stopped by an injury.Jpreisser wrote:I think Tzyu stops Alexander late. He very well may have, I just don't think we can call that a knock out.
Re: Kostya Tszyu.v. Devon Alexander
I agree with that. Do you think Alexander is a superior fighter to Judah and Mitchell?SaadOffTheDeck wrote:He very well may have, I just don't think we can call that a knock out.
Re: Kostya Tszyu.v. Devon Alexander
Tszyu would win pretty clearly.
