Pity to see he's not fighting any more.
There's plenty of opportunities around the welter and light middle divisions where he could feature.
Anyone know what he's up to now ?
Craig Watson
Re: Craig Watson
There are "plenty of opportunities" at practically every single weight division, however for one reason or another 90% of them never happen.
Although the decisions are probably made with the best intentions at the time, I would imagine that there are a lot of retired boxers who now wish that those fights had been made.

Re: Craig Watson
He was saying he was goner be back in the gym after Christmas but he's still not showed up, might never see him again which is ashame
Re: Craig Watson
He was a decent and hard boxer, he beat Matthew Hatton pretty well. Boxing looks a hard way to make money if you're only boxing a couple of times a year - most people would be better off with a day job; Watson used to be in the building game so would be most probably knackered after a day of graft. I imagine the settee and the telly looks a better bet than a couple of hours in the gym.
Re: Craig Watson
I think he was about the first to expose Khan's chin too
Re: Craig Watson
He was indeed. He was the reason Khan went pro.Coco wrote:I think he was about the first to expose Khan's chin too
He beat a ruck of good fighters though. Ali Nuumbembe inside 9 the night Hatton fought Floyd!
