To be fair to Horse he always answers every comment and is willing to state his reasons for where he ranks fighter, even if people don't agree with them.

Ricky burns people forget Gonzales was better than they predicted, he toughed it out and won, Beltran he broke his jaw, you proberly couldn't type a post on boxrec with a broken jaw never mind do 10 rounds. And Crawford the better fighter won, simple, the guy fought 3 mandatorys in a row. My point is you can't do a rankings system on form, potential and own opinion. It has to be done on facts and levels I would imagine

How do you judge what level a fighters at? Surely that's just opinion as well. Just because one fighter has fought and beaten better fighters than another, doesn't mean they're the better fighter, it may simply be that they've had better opportunities and been able to prove their ability, whereas the other fighter is still waiting for that chance.

Surely it has to be about levels, Curtis Woodhouse has done well to be where he is at but how can he be ranked in there instead of Kevin Mitchell and Andy Lee, I have no idea,

Because Mitchell hasn't beaten anyone decent since John Murray, nearly three years ago and has been demolished in his two world title fights. The same can be said for Lee, it's been 2 or 3 years since he beat anyone as well, whereas Curtis beat Hamilton, the reigning British champion who was on a good run of form. How can losing a world title fight be better than winning at European level, anyone can lose in a world title fight, you and I could do that, but winning at European level is beyond most fighters. Is Lee Purdy better than Frankie Gavin then? Frankie has only fought at domestic level, but Purdy got beat up by Devon Alexander, so in your mind he must somehow be better.

My view is purdy would beat everyone franky Gavin has fought and has fought at a higher level so yes he should be ranked higher in my eyes:) thanks for making that so easy for me to explain with a great example haha,

Digging the hole deeper here, care to explain Peter McDonagh and Denton Vassell then? It's just that both Purdy and Gavin have fought both men, but Gavin won every round against McDonagh, but Purdy lost to McDonagh first time round, before winning the return 9 months later and Purdy was comfortably beaten by Vassell, whereas Gavin hardly took a clean punch on the way to breaking Vassell's jaw and stopping him after 7 rounds.

Aaa good point, yousif al hamidi beat Anthony Crolla, ronnie Clark didn't drop a round and easily beat al hamidi, why is he not in place of Crolla? My point is you can't judge on potentoal, franky Gavin Is class but will he do it at world level? I don't know! I prefer fighters who are fighting better fighters.

Crolla has since gone on to fight, win or lose, against far superior opposition to Clark. your getting silly to emphasize what was a pretty poor point to begin with.
