Does anyone know how Fury vs Chisora II is selling?

It is still 4 months away, and from looking at detail at the Eventim seating plan and zooming into the available seats it looks like they have sold about 50% of the available tickets so far.

I imagine it will sell out the remaining 50% in the next 4 months with more build up, press, tv coverage and undercard being announced etc.

But will they open up the 2nd half of the MEN to turn it from an 11,000 capacity into a 20,000 capacity?

It looks to me like it is a slow burner that will gradually sell out rather than a Froch vs Groves II - which is obviously an all time record breaker!

From what I've seen there's not a lot of interest on the forums about this fight, but maybe they both have name value to entice people who don't watch much boxing.

Tyson Fury has been on Channel 5 for a few years, so people will know who he is. People will remember Chisora from fighting Haye a few years back.

You can argue about whether it should be a main event fight at a big arena, and I suspect most people think it shouldn't be. But I suspect Fwank wouldn't be promoting it there unless he feels it can sell.

I don't think it should be a final eliminator for a world title either, but not as bad as saturdays poor excuse for a IBF world title fight at bantamweight between Stuart Hall and Martin Ward, just in this country alone, Lee Haskins would beat the two of them easily, never mind the elite fighters abroad.

Change the record. The Current IBF champion made his first voluntary against the current Commonwealth champion. More legit than hundreds of other previous weak World Title fights matchups which occur the world over.

As for Fury/Chisora, if his pantomime antics at flipping the table at the press Conference is anything to go by, I'd say tickets are not quite selling as well as they expected. Expect more OTT antics over the next few weeks.
