Nobuhiro Ishida 154 D Takuji Matsuhashi. they announce it was a draw then they fight a 5th round to find who the winner is. i think Nobuhiro Ishida wins that round and is declared the winner. does that mean he should win a UD 5 on his record?, what are the rules on this?
It has happened a few times before , Doug De Witt v Tony Thornton had a draw over 12 rounds for the USBA title a few years ago, then they agreed to fight an extra round to see who wins, that couldn't happen today as all fights are only for a max of 12 rounds.
I'd like to see 15 rounders back myself, now those were the makers of real men. Wasn't the only reason that was cut to 12 because it would make it more TV friendly?

I thought it was because it was shown, medically, that more fatalities and serious injuries occured in the latter stages of the fight, hence the shortening of championship fights?
