Really hoping John Murray does a job on Crolla
Always been a big fan of johns and would like nothing more to see him wipe that smug look of that wanker joe gallaghers face and the rest of team Gallagher who are all far to smug and false
Re: Really hoping John Murray does a job on Crolla
You've not been one to mince your words since you joined the forum mate haha
I'm just looking forward to a good fight to be honest, crolla always seemed decent to me in interviews

You know what it's more that joe Gallagher he just comes across as a smug slimeball, plus I have always been a big Murray fan I have grown up watching Murray as far back as when he got robbed in the abas against reigning champ Stephen BurkeCrazyboy wrote:You've not been one to mince your words since you joined the forum mate haha

Yeah, I challenge anyone to say a bad word about Ant!
Re: Really hoping John Murray does a job on Crolla
I kind of feel the same as the OP. Nothing to do with Crolla though, it's because of Gallagher.thepocketrocket wrote:Yeah, I challenge anyone to say a bad word about Ant!

I see a lot of people slating Gallagher on here I see he's not a very likable caractercolumbo wrote:I kind of feel the same as the OP. Nothing to do with Crolla though, it's because of Gallagher.thepocketrocket wrote:Yeah, I challenge anyone to say a bad word about Ant!
But people seem to hate him wats the story with him
Re: Really hoping John Murray does a job on Crolla
He's just a bit of a smug fornicator and his fighters seem to be taking on the same mentality, Crolla and Paul Smith thinking they've earned world titles, when they've both been sparked at domestic level and he takes every opportunity to big himself up.dubliner wrote:I see a lot of people slating Gallagher on here I see he's not a very likable caractercolumbo wrote:I kind of feel the same as the OP. Nobody who is a fan of John's had a bad word to say about the way Joe Gallagher went about his business when things were going great, but as soon as the Murray's left the gym no matter what the reason, and only Joe G and John know the real reasons, Joe suddenly becomes a wanker! Love him or hate him he has become one of the best trainers in Britain and has one of the best stables too! My personal opinion is this about the fighters Crolla Vs. Murray and not about Joe G. So may the best man win, it's gonna be a cracker! Can't Wait!
Re: Really hoping John Murray does a job on Crolla
I think in a lot of cases though, the fighters make the trainers. Trainers become popular and other fighters will then join the stable because of the success of another fighter with that particular trainer, even though it might not be automatically because of the trainer and that the fighter in question might of ended up doing good things no matter who was training him. Virgil Hunter fits into that mould for me currently. It was Freddie Roach before who was flavour of the month because of his success with Manny.ianmx5 wrote:Nobody who is a fan of John's had a bad word to say about the way Joe Gallagher went about his business when things were going great, but as soon as the Murray's left the gym no matter what the reason, and only Joe G and John know the real reasons, Joe suddenly becomes a wanker! And also boxers will join a gym because of the success the trainer has achieved with his fighters, surely it works both ways or am i missing something here?columbo wrote:I think in a lot of cases though, the fighters make the trainers. I didn't think that sort of thing actually happened, until I read Johnny Nelson's autobiography and he describes how a weird local bloke actually did that to the Nelson family dog. Unbelievable. Nelson threatened to beat him up if he did it again.palooka wrote:both of us

So Johnny still never got too aggressive even when someone bummed his dog?JimJim2009 wrote:I didn't think that sort of thing actually happened, until I read Johnny Nelson's autobiography and he describes how a weird local bloke actually did that to the Nelson family dog. According to the book, he did only threaten him. When you think about it, the situation required more than verbals

Re: Really hoping John Murray does a job on Crolla
I remember reading a article/ interview on Nelson just before one of his wbo title defences he came across so humble and honest in it, the man has no ego outside the ring said that he was still pissing the bed at age 17 and that Naseem hamed use to drop him with body shots when they would be body sparring
Re: Really hoping John Murray does a job on Crolla
I think Gallagher and his boys must have nipped round and made Mrs Bennt "airtight"

Re: Really hoping John Murray does a job on Crolla
Crolla seems like one of the nicest guys around. Don't have a problem with Gallagher myself, is it just the fact he is very self confident? Or actively hypes up his fighters chances? What an idiot eh.

If someone buggered my dog (Welsh Springer Spaniel) against his will, I`d have to administer a thorough shallacking.JimJim2009 wrote:I didn't think that sort of thing actually happened, until I read Johnny Nelson's autobiography and he describes how a weird local bloke actually did that to the Nelson family dog. Threats will have little effect on the average dog driller, only broken bones and hospital food would do the trick.
He´s a good looking dog but his arse shall remain unbreached whilst I am around.

There's no dog driller that can be seen as average
