...Gomez starting to get boring by calling out Alex Aurthur everytime he has a camera shoved in his face or a microphone under his nose!! It is obvious that Aurthur does not want to fight him again or is being advised against fighting him again so why doesn't Gomez just look to calling someone else out. I mean, it is not as if Aurthur beat Gomez and he wants to prove something by reaping revenge, he bloody stopped him FFS!
What are peoples thoughts on Aurthur keep refusing Gomez? Is he scared the same result will follow? Or is there little reward in fighting Gomez again other than shutting the Mancunian up!?!

Gomez v Arthur 2 SHOULD happen. It was a fantastic initial clash - why not get them together again. Gomez is a cheeky chappie who is quotable and doent mind going into the lion's den and Arthur has no real focus on where to go next, as far as I can see.
I would love to see these two go at it again and I am sure it would do good numbers on ITV. Frank needs to impress his new paymaster - this is a great opportunity for him put another good fight together..

The last time they met Gomez was supposed to shot and Arthur nearing world class. I know it’s 2 (or is it 3?) years on but I’d say the fight looks about the same as it did the last time Gomez flattened him.
In my worthless opinion I think there is still enough value in a win over Gomez for Arthur to want the fight and if it’s going to be that easy then it should be a decent payday for Alex for little effort.
Unless he doesn’t think it will be that easy and Gomez has put the heebie-jeebies in him, this could be a possibility too. It was quite a beating he took, not your one punch KO like Lennox Lewis suffered a couple of times that you can argue were lucky punches, this was a prolonged beating that could have left Arthur having some sleepless nights even now.

I thought the most recent one was Gomez offering up 100k of his own money? I was shocked he had it to spare, to be honest.
I wouldn't mind seeing them go at it again, though: Plenty to lose for the Amazing one, although there's redemption for Arthur as well, if he's heading onwards and upwards as I suspect, and a fair wedge for both of them either way.... If Arthur-Burns can be made, surely there's money in Gomez-Arthur II? Plus, the first one was a cracker.
All that said, Gomez can be a little repetitive in this calling-out, I agree. And I do wonder what he has left. But...... I wondered the same before the first fight. Who knows? If Arthur can't push on to world level in the first 6 months of 2006, maybe it's not a bad option.
