Gary Hyde Irish Boxing Manager, who is renonwed for bringing over the top Cubans and Manager of world superstar Rigondeaux, has offered Barry Mcguigan manager of Frampton, a fight between Rigondeaux and Frampton in Belfast, this would be on of the biggest fights in Irish history, for two world title belts.

A lot of it is about money, America is the most financially viable place for boxing, but with the crowds Frampton brings, I can't see why they can't make it pay, it will be big, but will Mcguigan be willing to risk Frampton against Rigo so early, who is a lot better then Santa Cruz, the home advantage however could come into it as well, that would be a massive help.

I was under the impression that scott guillford was an alias used to troll british fighters, the same guy uses different names on articles to slate fighters from different parts of the world. chris williams, dan ambrose etc... its amazing that his articles get as many hits and comments as they do.

Back to boxing, it makes sense for Frampton to fight the number two guy in the division before fighting the number one guy, particularly since Santa Cruz fight will pay alot more

I doubt it will pay more mate, he will get 30% of purse bids in the states or less, in Ireland it will sell massively and we will get much larger percentage, plus tv, here, in Ireland and the states.

This division would get along just fine with the ridiculously superior Rigondeaux to cast a shadow over everyone else. I bet they all can't wait for him to move up or something, so they can start saying "I was going to fight him but he moved up"
