The rumour is totally inaccurate.

It's actually Nelson who has let himself go.

Afraid that Burns has had too many tough 12 rounders, he doesn't have it anymore at that level.

He was last seen in a eating frenzy at a 24 hour McDonald's drive through... Looks like he's took the news quite bad as expected...
Maybe he'll start a slim fast or weight watchers regime soon and leave the Billy Bear meat off his pieces :bag:

We all need a laugh mate.

And I'm sure Billy has a sense of humour too.

Na, my uncle was found dead this evening after getting drunk *He's on/off drinking problems* and falling down the stairs. It made me smile even if momentarily.

It's far easier to decide your trainer isn't getting the best out of you than it is to accept you've found your level.

Great point, maybe it's just a change he feels he needs

This might shock people but I think Billy has got the best out if Ricky. My concern was watching him answering Billy back. That's never a good sign. I struggle to see who can get anymore out of Ricky only 1 person who I would say could improve Ricky's tactics and that's Adam Booth but I don't think that would be worth the change in trainer think overall for Ricky.. Billy would be better. Only option I see is Shane Mcguigan he has more modern training methods and feel he could maybe get a little more out of Ricky physically. I hoped that they brought someone else in to train Ricky and Billy was still involved as the main trainer. I hope Billy stays in the sport he has so much to give knowledge wise..

Ricky may be able to get a trainer who can show him different aspects but he'll not get anyone defending him through thick and thin like Billy Nelson.

He first of all has to address how to box a counter puncher/slick type fighter. Last 3 fights he has been severly exposed.
Who was at fault for this?

After boxing for 20 years or more Ricky himself ought to accept some of the blame; it's his trade and down to him as a professional to develop a rounded style, the trainer gets shot down and blamed - they are not training dogs or horses, Burns is an intelligent man and ought to work on weaknesses and not just build on strengths.

True ,but hes still quite young and a change in trainer might give him the chance to at least challenge for another title, if the rumour is indeed true .
