English Middleweight Title: Danny Butler W (RSC 4th) against Martin Conception
Nick Blackwell W (Pts 10) against Terry Carruthers
Joe Hughes W (pts 10) against Kristian Donchev for an International Masters belt
Mike Rose W (pts 10) against Jan Balog for an International Masters Belt.
Luke Martin L (pts 4) against James Oliphant
Gareth Heard L (pts 4) against Keith Sheen
Pete Leaworthy W (pts 4) against Kristian Laight
Jason Gardiner W (pts 4) against Mark Till
Tom(?) Duff W (pts 4) against Steve Spence

Good show. well attended.

Conception was down in the third and fourth and despite beating the count complained he had an elbow injury and the contest was waved off.

Joe Hughes looked sharp, as did Mike Rose against some tough, but overall outclassed foreign lads. Nick Blackwll looked very fast and accurate against a very hard and committed Terry Carruthers.

Gotta say that was one of the worst venues I've been to watch a boxing show at. Usually love a small hall.
Bath is a lovely place but I won't be going to watch any fights at the forum again, just didn't have the right set out for a small hall show, plus they only sold real ale in the venue! Prob didn't help that we had a 2 and a half hour drive down from leicester.... Lol.

Fair play to Danny butler, once he hurts an opponent he knows how to finish. He's got some good movement too.
Concepcion needs to retire now as he just looking for the KO, which is always a problem with punchers when they come to the end of there career.

Nick Blackwell looked top quality, good variety of shots to body and head. Excellent work rate. Would like to see him step up again now if he's gonna box like he did last night.

Yeah, the venue was a bit strange. Never been anywhere like that before for boxing.
