Wayne Alexander in today's 154 division

Post by Michael bennt »

How does the erratic but chilling big punching Alexander do against today's light middles? I was always a big fan and thought if he would of got another chance after the short notice fight against Harry Simon the hot then cold Alexander could of pulled something out the bag and become champion, something that always stuck in my head was jimmy Tibbs said he thought Wayne punched harder than benn, after training them both, wow some crazy power Alexander must of had

He would chin most, but could be chinned also.

He could KO Canelo, I have no doubt.

Wayne would only need to land once, pup or fully grown, Canelo is not taking a WA Special.

Whoever lands 1st wins....

Wayne was certainly a big hitter and a good finisher, he didn't really prove himself at world level in his day so I imagine it'd be similar today; he was a good fighter to watch though and he needed only a second to get a massive shot in. I know a man who boxed him pro and he said that Wayne was very powerful and his punches were crisp and very fast.
