Yh Barry was Troys manager in early days.

JamieM, I guarantee you Troy can whack mate. Ask Barrington Brown who Troy knocked out in 10th round, did Troy catch him cold.

Better still ask Dougie Curran who Troy boxed last week can Troy punch, Troy broke his ribs with a single body shot, the same Curran that gave Ronnie a good fight and took rounds off him.

Records are for DJ's mate, Troy could of stopped at least another 7 or 8 of his opponents on top of ones his stopped, but chose to take foot of gas, and box to instructions and get some good rounds in, like he did with Curran last week, if he hits you and your out cold then so be it, but if your hurt and we want rounds he'll ease off, most are good lads and will be able to tell you this, that they were hurt and he let them off the hook, this is not my version, you can ask anyone who's fought him or even sparred him, like Billy's already commented, including Burns, Munroe, Crolla, Buckland, Evans, Murray, Gavin list is endless mate, from Featherweight to Welterweight, they will tell you he's very strong and can really punch, that's what Drew Barry McGuigan to him.

Ibrar Riyaz was another young fresh kid with ambition, Troy fought him at beginning of both there pro careers, he came out and tried to give it to Troy, but Troy had him all over the shop and out, but then just listened to the corner and let him see the bell, i could go on all day, I promise you if Troy wants to knock you out, he will knock you out, and out cold, if your coming into this fight thinking Troys power is overrated or average because of his record, your in for a almighty shock mate, seriously I'd re-think that, because we're not taking Ronnie lightly or his power or anything he brings, that's not what you do mate.

Troy IMO is probably the biggest single puncher with both hands out of anyone in UK in the S/F division.

And talking is for politicians lol, I didn't say it was over rated, I said it was similar to ronnie record which is true isn't it? Iv never seen the guy fight really but I can sit and make excuses how ronnie has put or hurt almost every fighter he has fought but pointless. Time shall tell

( JamieM ) Indeed my friend, time will tell.

Either way it's gonna be a great fight mate, and we're looking forward to it.

Like I say, I hope it can get out to a wider audience some how, even to be shown at a later date, not only for the lads exposure but for the public has I think like others have said already it could be a candidate for FOTY

and has we know these kind of fights on small hall shows rarely disappoint

I like Ronnie, his attitude, style of fighting, so wish him a great camp, and a great fight, and look forward to having a chat and the craic and a drink afterwards

I'm surprised that someone with that kind of power hasn't had more exposure!! I would think allegedly and Eddie Hearn would be wanting a piece of that!!!

Who manages and promotes him just now?

Errol Johnson mate, it comes down to ticket sales unless your a Olympic champion and marketing machine, but that's another reason I'm hoping some sort of TV can film it to get it to a wider audience not just for Troy but for both lads to show there ability/talent

I understand that with most guys it comes down to that but promoters know that people love KO's and if they can get a fighter with 1 punch KO power that can put you out cold they can be marketed even without big ticket sales?

Although troy will be the harder puncher in the fight, he will certainly lose out in the reach dept and I think that will be important

Because I'm English? If an Englishman was fighting for a title I would cheer them on. It's natural.

This fight will go the distance IMO. Unless either fighter makes a silly mistake then it will be who has the better chin.. I think Ronnie will be too fast and slick and will outbox Troy but time will tell.. I said before the Male fight Troy Was very under rated. Didn't know too much about male.. I watched Troy v Rhys Roberts and if he fights like that he's no chance.. Hope both have a great camp and there is no excuses come fight night

is it ?i support the boxer not that nationality, like loads of boxers from England, GErmany, Mexico etc

so if Antony Small was fighting for a title, you would be supporting him cause he is English and "Its Natural" ?

Not sure if this is a serious question ? - the Jocks would support anybody against an English person / team.

I am English and will be supporting Clark just because he posts on here and I have no "connection" with the other lad.

Anyway, great fight this one - I hope that it will be available to view (even if I have to avoid the stealth spoilers on this site and watch it the next day on Youtube).

Not quie true about 'the jocks' mate, id support anyone against the english football team but that doesnt transfer over to sports like boxing. Ive travelled far and wide to support english fighters and will continue to do so but would never support an english fighter over a scottish fighter if they were matched up. I work with a helluva lot of english and the majority show a much greater anti scottish nature than most scots do anti englsh. Its mainly the scottish backlash to the media circus that surrounds the english national football team that leads you to believe that.

Anyway, Vote Yes! Lol
