It's still not the real WBA belt, Kessler beat Brian Magee for it, who was handed the title after holding the interim belt. Andre Ward is the real WBA champion, this just gives Froch the opportunity to spout off about how he's unified the titles.

I agree, but for froch it was more about beating kessler than winning the belt, i'm sure he would have fought him even if the 'regular' title wasn't on the line

So Anselmo Moreno is super wba champ even tho he isn't a unified champ and regular champ Koki Kameda only defended the belt last november. Strange 1 this.

The Froch vs Groves undercard is not looking very interesting.

Moreno has been super champion for a while. He had made something like 8 or 9 defences by that point.

Koki VACATED the title after the WBA said he had to fight Moreno. Koki is now looking for a fight with Kohei Kono in an attempt to become a 4 weight world champion.

As for Tabtimdaeng, he's nothing special, and I'd be shocked if he could last 6 rounds with McDonnell.

What's even worse is I just read Stuart Hall may Face Paul Butler on June 7th instead of Randy Caballero. Butler is a 15 fight fighter with a world ranking of 46. Caballero flew to Japan earned a I.B.F. Mandatory spot and is ranked 13 in the world. HOW IN THE HELL DOES THAT MAKE SENSE!!! U.K. FIGHTERS are warriors wut is up with the 118 champions over their.

I wish fighters could be more like Canelo.

The Lara fight is non title as a refused to pay the sanction fee because of the regular super bollocks. Sooner they get rid the better.

At least Jamie is in a meaningful fight good luck to him.

Like like a ridiculously padded record.

Last fight opponent was 0-1 and before that was a debutant.

Also can't wait to hear John Mcdonald announce his name. :D

It's possible that while they have little or not "boxing" experience, they were both experienced Muay Thai fighters.

As a side note, christ alive, just how many defences of that PABA title has he made? Phenomenal.
