It's still not the real WBA belt, Kessler beat Brian Magee for it, who was handed the title after holding the interim belt. Andre Ward is the real WBA champion, this just gives Froch the opportunity to spout off about how he's unified the titles.

I agree, but for froch it was more about beating kessler than winning the belt, i'm sure he would have fought him even if the 'regular' title wasn't on the line

Moreno has been super champion for a while. He had made something like 8 or 9 defences by that point.

Koki VACATED the title after the WBA said he had to fight Moreno. Koki is now looking for a fight with Kohei Kono in an attempt to become a 4 weight world champion.

As for Tabtimdaeng, he's nothing special, and I'd be shocked if he could last 6 rounds with McDonnell.

What's even worse is I just read Stuart Hall may Face Paul Butler on June 7th instead of Randy Caballero. Butler is a 15 fight fighter with a world ranking of 46. It's possible that while they have little or not "boxing" experience, they were both experienced Muay Thai fighters.
