By the way did people see the twitter beef between Joe Murray and Stephen Smith yesterday?

Saw it, seems like Stephen's another with ideas above his station, Joe Murray's a good fighter and he gave Liam Walsh a very close fight that could have gone either way, don't know why Smith sees him as being so far beneath him.

I can't see crolla staying with murray head to head - he's far too strong - but if crolla boxes within himself, uses his lighter feet to get in and then out, and mix in the hard shot now and again...he can make his mark later on, get that extra time and space, and if things go his way, try to start backing murray up.

murray is a good talent but last time I saw, was not punching with authority. whereas Stephen smith...anyone remember the buckland fight?

Exactly! And they know each other well so I can't see Crolla going crazy like he did against Mathews, so it will come down to how much Murray has left and we just can't know that (yet)

crolla really has to be on it, though. he can't be too passive, he can't be too aggressive. he has to avoid too much contact, but he has to punch with conviction. just has to get that balance right. the last few fights, he's tried different things, and I think vs the aggressive murray, this is the time to put it all together.

He is doing okay, we expect the early rounds to be difficult, and yeah I have faith in Crolla rising to the occassion and putting it altogrther.
