He's too slow for it to matter. He's not Dawson.

109-100 Hopkins

Shumenov down from a right hand in the 11th, could be looking at a first Hopkins KO win since De La Hoya 9 1/2 years ago.

Well Hopkins gets back the point from that even round. Makes the 12th round more interesting than it would've been otherwise.

He got dropped by Jones after that too, but he got up and handle his business though.

119-109 Hopkins

Completely dominated, took the piss out of Shumenov tonight. Amazing that he can still do it at 49, my Dad's the same age, he's currently led on the settee, pissed, half asleep and has probably spilled wine all over himself.

Plus he made Hopkins fake a low blow from a body punch that would have led to a stoppage had the ref not bought his act.

I don't like Bernard's chances against Adonis. Just being honest.

Hopefully Jim Gray asks Hopkins about a potential Stevenson fight.

It was a bit low, but Hopkins made the most of it he could, 5 minute rest was exactly what he needed at the time.

I think he'd still be able to make it ugly, and difficult for Stevenson. I wouldn't be shocked if he beat him.
