Who are some of the best non-tv fighters around that deserve some tv exposure?

I wudnt say best but ste pearce (welter, midlands) is never in a dull fight.
Re: Best small hall fighters?
I'd go Tyrone Nurse he won English title on Saturday before sky went live.
Lacks killer power but clearly has ability.

If he is up there, then Sam Eggington has to be higher.maley1984 wrote:I wudnt say best but ste pearce (welter, midlands) is never in a dull fight.

But he is very tough and has a good chin, he can mix it with British title level fighters.Naandrew wrote:I'd go Tyrone Nurse he won English title on Saturday before sky went live.

Defo but I'd say sam will move on now to bigger shows.

I haven't seen much of Nurse, but he either has average talent and is being well managed or has a lot of talent and is being badly managed.Anzi wrote:But he is very tough and has a good chin, he can mix it with British title level fighters.Naandrew wrote:I'd go Tyrone Nurse he won English title on Saturday before sky went live.

Re: Best small hall fighters?
seems to have moved slowly, lots of wins, not sure of his am background but there is def tallent there. think theres has been alot of treading water and waiting for opportunity. first op was prizefighter where he did well but didnt win so has waited for english title opbripez wrote:I haven't seen much of Nurse, but he either has average talent and is being well managed or has a lot of talent and is being badly managed.Anzi wrote:But he is very tough and has a good chin, he can mix it with British title level fighters.Naandrew wrote:I'd go Tyrone Nurse he won English title on Saturday before sky went live.

I like watching Lee Markham. He's always good value for money...
Re: Best small hall fighters?
Eggington is a good shout definitely value for money
Re: Best small hall fighters?
Nurse was an excellent amateur mixing with and beating the likes callum smith, joe Rodgers,Andy Townsend while just dipping v joe Hughes n heffron and all while boxin in the same pro style, don't punch hard but very game and subtle skilled. V. Old skool, been looked after well by his dad but would expect him to push on this year
Re: Best small hall fighters?
I'd say Stuey hall is the best 'small' hall fighter

Re: Best small hall fighters?
Tyrone has all the skills to mix in title class. Only problem for him is a serious lack of power. You need a dig to keep title level boys away.manno wrote:Nurse was an excellent amateur mixing with and beating the likes callum smith, joe Rodgers,Andy Townsend while just dipping v joe Hughes n heffron and all while boxin in the same pro style, don't punch hard but very game and subtle skilled.
