Was Okoth a Fireman or something?
Re: Hastings rasani-nick okoth
Yer I think they said that when he was on prizefighter?
Re: Hastings rasani-nick okoth
I was always curious about Rasani, he obviously had some skill and ambition at some point and was 11-3 (10) but then it seemed to go rapidly wrong from then on, usually getting stopped by anyone half decent. Granted, he fought some reasonable names but I always wondered "why" he boxed? What thought process did he go through each time lacing the gloves up? Did he think "I might win this" or did he think "I hope I don't get clattered in a round again"?
I used to think the same about Joey Paladino, I saw him fight regularly and used to think jeez, he's a big lump and they're big punches he's taking, why does he do it? What thought process is he going through.

Rasani had a little talent no doubt and when he was at his proper weight and fit he could dig a bit. He didn't know how to spar though, he was always full on or feck all :-) Last I heard he was doing "security" work.
